Thanks Jkissi.
I'm almost the exact same height/weight as my dad was when he bought the suit (at least 15 yrs ago). Luckily he hangs on to most of his business clothes soI can occasionally cherry-pick the items he doesn't want anymore.

Finally got a chance to pick up the Timberland Abington Guide Boots. I cannot wait to break them out today.

are you kidding me? that looks so ******ed
to each their own, but i dont see this dude stylin imo.

Yo, that shawl he is wearing is too thick. Don't blame it on his body.

And... A lot of this stuff in this thread is nice, I can agree with that, but other times, it looks like you're just trying too hard.

RFX has been a solid poster/contributer to this thread though.

Yeah, JKissi works at Topman.

JKissi's fit is on point there. It works, everything is proportional from the well fitting jacket to the skinny jeans.
It works and he pulls it off well. I still haven't found a leather jacket that fit me as well is this one does.

As for the cardigan and the brolic dude comment, I don't think a piece or certain clothes are limited to body sizes but people definitely need to payattention on how they look.
For brolic and fit dudes, I think a less puffy cardigan is better, the thinner the better so that they do not look as bigger than they already are.
It's just knowing what works for your body type. Like not wearing a 3 button suit when you are 6'8" or wearing some wide, straight leg pants whenyou're 5'5".

Also, GQ's styling on a budget.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt pulls on clothing from H&M, Topman, Uniqlo, and more of the low-cost, high-style labels thatgot us through the recession

really liking this sweater. I can't even front I've always slept on H&M. Always walk right past that store. Hope they still have it nextweek.......smh at me for spending all my money on liquor Thanksgiving Eve and being too broke for the black Friday sales.

I find the sizing on H&M sweaters to be off. They're either too narrow in the shoulders or too long (going way past your waist).

Am I missing something here?

And BTW, I love how those prices are considered cheap alternatives for the recession
laugh.gif
I've paid that much for some of my items but I definitely didn't feellike I was getting a cheaper alternative

Well, GQ didn't really state it was style on a budget but those brands are on the lower bracket of pricing, especially considering the fit could only befound in more high-end designer brands.
I'm just surprised they didn't include ZARA in the list.
