Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Question: I currently have navy, charcoal, grey (both dark and light grey), and blue suits as solid colors. Are there any more solid color suits i should get? Brown and olive would've been next choices but they're not really my style. I plan on getting a black one later on in the future. But should i move on to get a striped or windowpane pattern suit or is there something else better?
I'd do khaki since its summertime. If not, definitely get those patterns going. I love my grey glenplaid suit. Wouldn't mind some windowpanes either :hat

This. I don't know how soon you plan on purchasing (that would affect the khaki purchase) but assuming its soon, I would go Khaki > Glenplaid > Windowpane > Pinstripe. We can discuss preferential colors for the last 3 as well. I would also consider a double breasted suit but I don't know how you feel about them. A fitted double breasted suit :hat :hat

I use MTM so it takes ~4-6 weeks usually.

I was also thinking of a navy or blue striped double breast but that might be more towards a later date

Also, how is KG gonna make fun of Craig when he has a mini chopper suit on in the gifs :lol

Alright guys, this is my first suit. Need some tailoring tips advice. I think the waist needs to be brought in some and maybe a taper? Jacket seems a little short from the front but I'll live. Not sure what else it needs. thanks in advance. Also don't mind the one shoe on and one off it was just for point of reference :lol

I agree that the waist could be brought in some.
I would definitely hem the pants to make them shorter. I'd ask to make the back of the hem be slightly longer than the front for it to fall on the shoe better.
You could probably slim the sleeves down a little.
Doesn't look like you need a pant taper.

Pretty good fitting suit though. Where you get it from?

Definitely bring the waist in. Sleeves look good to me as well as the pants. You could get them hemmed and/or tapered but that's just personal preference. I'd probably get them hemmed a bit though. Good looking suit man!

Ever had an aggressive tailor?

Not a tailor but my company has a healthy iniatitive. If your bmi is within range you get around $700 added to your annual bonus. My true waist is 32" but when they measured me they pulled the measuring tape so tight they got it down to a 29" :lol I would've been within bmi either way though. It was funny she told me to stand still and gave the tape a nice twist.

That's a great idea! I feel like a lot of people would be up in arms about it though
