Serg: I don't take it to the heart, man. There are definitely e-cliques on that site, similar to NT. His picture does look cooler than mine though. Note: I will be in a Lambo smoking a cigar the next time I post a picture up

I found the boots at Nordstrom Rack Topanga Canyon (wj4's hood ) this past fall. They're named the "Pretoro" by Bruno Magli. They were clearanced down to $50 bucks! Really comfortable and lightweight. Retail is $425 :x

I have two water bottles. I have one from Target that I use for work.

For the gym, I bought one from Sports Chalet that has a straw attached so I can drink w/o tilting the bottle.

I've tried on the 514s; the leg opening is too wide. they look flared to me.

I'm not sagging. but these pants are the dockers alpha which are pretty low rise. plus the grey shirt is an undershirt that is a couple of too inches too short for me.

Tailoring goes a long way. 514's are perfect for sneakers but awful for low profile shoes. Tapering makes them perfect.

It's not about taking it to heart it's that people clearly favor people and based any opinion based on who it is. I've seen members there who have worn things so out there that it's okay because of who they are on there.

I am beginning to realize in general that the leaner a person is physically, the better/more flattering they look in slim and fitted/ tailored clothing..... IMO, if u do not have a lean body your overall look and fit in clothes will always be off, if one choses to go the tailored/fitted and slim routes...with that being said I think I need to concentrate more leaning out and take a break from buying clothes ...since I do wish continue wearing fitted clothing

I am a long time lurker from the old site and I recently created this new profile. I have gotten a lot of very usefull advice from this thread and I would like to thank you all. My dilemma currently is that I have lost around 35-40 lbs in the last 10 months and I have been finding it very difficult to find items that fit me. The best fitting jeans I have found are levis 505. I am a 34/30. If you have any recommendations on a straight fit jean in the price range of $60- $120 I would greatly appreciate it, Also  I would like any  advice on pair of  dress shoes/boots that would compliment jeans and a blazer. Thank you in advance and any advice would be very appreciated.

Welcome! I won't comment on the jeans since I'm not too familiar with brands but in regards to shoes, definitely go with a brown. The shade really doesn't matter but brown, leather or suede, are great and be paired with denim to a lot different color trousers like khaki, white, navy, gray, charcoal, red, etc. Assuming the blazer is navy or gray which would go with every trouser color mentioned above, then you are good.

Yeah those aint Cartier, they are some imitations a person on Etsy does for 38$ a piece, to each it's own, can't justify at the moment dropping 5-6k on the simplest one, so I'll settle for this for now..lol
