It's usually just a deeper discount on their clearance/sale stuff that's already marked down. The sale racks in stores usually have better deals on Black Friday than online.

The north face Denali fleece is the warmest fleece hoodie I ever wore; you can wear it by itself in high 30-40 degree weather

Grab yourself a soft shell jacket. Light weight yet warm. Grab one that's wind and water resistant.

It's perfect for me because my current desk is right next to a window that takes up the entire side of the building so it's super chilly in the winter time. I can wear it in the office without feeling too bulky.

What size are you? I know i spoke highly of them in a previous post but after further observation they arent that slim. I wear 36x34 and they are shorter than 34". They are shorter than my gap skinnys w/ a 32" inseam.

32/30; I have the "older versions" before they rebranded/remade them. Any noticable difference from the old ones? Thighs the same? leg openning slimmer? etc.

Getting the lows significantly under $300 is a little more rare than the mids. For RIGHT under $300, you can buy from TBS:

Thanks for the tres-bien link, I forgot about them. I'll try to see if I can get them lower during any of the sales this weekend. If not, I'll probably just get them from TB later since they're always at that price.
