Dressing Better Vol 2.0

I like Uniqlo's black jeans

The slim-fit tapered?  Love the fit of them, I have them in stone too.

This is why I wish they had a store opening in the DMV because I want to try some of the pants on for size. I did just order a couple things online but I'm not gonna risk ordering their pants online.

Pants all come with standard 34" inseam. In-stores, they'll hem you fo free.

Sleeves can be easily tailored. I always get my suit sleeves trimmed down for my skinny forearms. I don't think the armholes can be changed though

The uniqlo near me said they would hem my online orders if I brought them in. Haven't tried it yet, though. Wearing them cuffed.

Anybody else getting into Birkenstocks? These have become my go to casual shoe. Been pretty much wearing them 24/7 unless I need to dress up a bit.

Today, with uniqlo selvedge jeans:

Brought them in is the key phrase.

If you order and ship to Nebraska, you likely would be better off finding a tailor versus flying out to NYC :lol

i was trying to see if I can get some leather sandals, how comfy are those birkenstocks?

Really comfortable to me because they offer a lot of support. They won't be like shoes/sandals that feel like walking on pillows or anything like that. Took me a while to get used to, but now that the cork has molded to my foot I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt.

I cannot consign Birkenstocks at all let alone Birkenstocks and selvedge. Ellen probably will tho

I respect the Birks more than boat shoes tbh. But I can't respect that fresh looking denim and unscuffed suede on the Birks. Do you eem hippy bro? Need more rips and dirt on the jeans. Looking like an urban psuedo hippy out here on these streets.

:lol thought i might get these responses. I am a little older and hippy I guess. But the jeans and shoes are on the newer side so I'm trying to break them in.

That boul Jerald is bout that Birks life.

To be fair, he's pushing like 45 doe.

If any of y'all are wearing boat shoes on land though better speak up now. I got some room on my block list...
