I work full time for a city agency. About a year ago I got a $2k bill because my primary care doctor used lab b instead of lab a.
Not to mention that if you can't pay that they're calling basically threatening to ruin your credit. Holding people hostage for their health. That's a problem.

Public/ Affordable Housing
Food Stamps/ EBT
Medicare
For the misinformed in this thread, you can't be anti-solislism, but support an increase in military spending. Doesn't work that way.
Let's not forget to mention that George H. Bush and every president after him has proposed some form of universal health care bill to the senate, only to have it veto'd . Obama has been the ONLY president that was able to establish some form of universal health care. It isn't perfect but it's a start. It's a new program, which means there's plenty of room for improvement.

I wasn't around to protest when all those programs began. It'd be far too much work to end them all now and political suicide. They've become staplea of the American experience. However, that doesn't mean ideas like that have to spread.

Unless you want to live like the pilgrims, socialist policy is a necessity if we're going to advance as a society. I can't think of any super power in the world, at any given time, that was able to become a super power without socialist policy.

The fact that you use terms like lefty shows me your political and world views are immature at best. Not that all of their jokes are funny but just the attempts. You can see the similar fear in Rubio's eyes to that of a comedian choking during a set. Cruz on the other hand is like one of those comedians that's experienced but just not funny.
