Does Eminem belong in GOAT of all time conversation?

Which one? Each artist I named have at least a classic album, and all of them got hits

And ALL changed the rap game for the better

How did bow wow change the game? Especially for the better

And the way that bow wow changed the game for the better is that he gave young dudes hope, had all the teens wanting to be rappers.. Honestly if it wasn't for bow wow's success in the early 2000s, I'm not sure if rap would still be relevant today

ok this is obviously trolling, but Lil Wayne came out at 14, I'd say he did slightly more.

and Doggy Bag a classic? you still bump it dog?

How am I trolling?

Bow Wow age 14 > lil Wayne age 14

Bow Wow changed the landscape of rap when he came out, people just don't like admitting it tho

Doggy Bag is the true definition of a classic, has songs about everything, and cool stories for teens to vibe to.. I actually listened to Doggy Bag last week, it aged well

Bow Wow is a seasoned vet, people need to recognize

I put him in my top 5 because he changed the game, and he ethered lil romeo

No child rapper will ever have Bow Wow success

Btw, nobody says you're trollin when you talk about your pacers chance at a championship this year, we all know that's not gonna happen :rollin

?
Even if what you're saying isn't racist, it's certainly prejudice.
Definitely NOT racist, it's clear to see alot of people still don't know the true definition of that word and use it incorrectly.  It's kinda hard not to be prejudice to someone when taking them seriously in a hip hop discussion when they say "Eminem made it okay for white people to listen to rap"

There are so many race code words in here.
Let's see champ, who's fanbase said these statements below??...................
And he has as to be up there in terms of being most influential. And yes it because he's white. I know people dont like to talk about race or bring it up but its defintely relevant. He made it ok for white people to listen to rap. Not only that, he's in a genre dominated by black people and he's the one no one dares to speak of in vain because he is the most feared.
Yes being white in a predominantly black genre is relevant

Eminem was my first step in getting into rap. Yes I'm white, which I do think is relevant.

He should be in a GOAT list solely because of his reputation and influence.

Well let's take a stab at this debate then. If you're going with that argument then it's void because JD's first kid rappers had a FAR bigger hit than Bow Wow has ever had and were first to make it cool for pre-teens to want it rap. They changed the landscape of Rap as well and have an album that I'm sure someone still considers a classic.

But sadly they never ethered Quo so they do lose in that department.

Oh yeah and they made white people listen to Rap. Since that seems to be another trending topic in this post.

Maybe there's a generational gap here. I'm getting up there but I clearly recall white cats I went to high school with listening to the Beastie Boys. They also listened to Run-DMC, 3rd Base, MC Hammer, and Vanilla Ice. Believe it or not, they were also HEAVY into N.W.A and Eazy E :rollin Em did attract some younger white cats into hip hop, but he definitely wasn't the first.

Not in my top 5, but he's definitely in the top 10-15. He may be better than the others on my list, but he just didn't influence me that much even during his peak years.
