Toontown is just like Fantasy Land..It’s great when the kids are little but once they start getting older it looses its appeal...At least for most people / families...

I personally love going back there because I grew up with it...Nostalgia for me...That’s why I was bummed when they closed Toontown Fair and are completely re-doing Hollywood Studios in Orlando...

Gets me bummed when they announce and start closing old things...Up side is I get amped up when the new stuff opens ...

i don't think they can afford for toon town to be closed for a long period of time, that's where parents throw their kids to let them run around while they chill

i wouldn't mind it either, not even gon' lie, i haven't stepped foot in toontown in maybe years til this past mickeys halloween party

Yea, I don’t know the last time I was there.

Probably head over this time with little one when the characters are out.

And once Star Wars land opens they will for sure need the open space. But it needs to be demo’d. It’s never felt like Disneyland, all cement and metals. So much you could do with an upgrade especially with the new art style of Mickey & co.

Fantasyland is great... don’t get that one.

My 6 and 8 year old love toontown, and I'll just chill while they burn off the crazy at goofys house. They also love playing with other kids, so if I have some business to work on, i can get it done there without them being all over me.

What hotels do you guys typically stay at? Flying down Nov 10 for Disneyland but don't want to shell out $450/night at the Disneyland Hotel.

Went last month and stayed at Hilton Anaheim but wondering if there was a better deal on a hotel with a shorter walk.

My family stayed at the Homewood Sweets by Hilton for the first time and loved it. Right across the street from the Toy Story parking lot. Offered a complimentary breakfast which was cool. We had dinner at ruth Chris the night before since it was just across the street. And after the park last night, i went to Roscoe’s lol.

Gonna start staying there from now on because it was super easy for us. We were there yesterday for Mickey’s Halloween party. Hit up CA in the morning then went back to our hotel around 2pm to rest up then went back to Disneyland for the party. Took a bunch of pics w/ characters, rode a ton of rides w/ little to no lines, took in a good amount of candy haul, and most importantly...my son had an awesome time. Loved every second of it just seeing him smile and have fun.

Here’s a couple pics of his “action pose” lol He went as Dash. He has another mask w/ blond hair but it kept bothering him so we switched to the regular eye mask.

So I'm planning to propose at disney world in a few months...staying there for a week at the kidani village villa, however for the first night (getting there late, around 7pm) i thought about booking a little mermaid room since that's her favorite movie. We're both in our late 20's. Will this be too weird? seeing how it looks like its just a kids room?

Book it man. She will love it. Nice pick on Kidani you’ll have a great time. Can’t wait to renew the pass holder tickets taking this year off to do some other trips
