Headed to universal studios in California in a couple of weeks...
Any suggestions are much appreciated!!!
Going with my 11 year old and 6 year old.
Both are above 42"

universal is a pretty small place so hitting everything there is doable in a day, at times the parks open 10am to 6pm when crowds low

but in a couple of weeks, it might be peak halloween time or right after when the crowd might be low before the xmas crowd floods in

if you are going in october, just get there as early as possible as they might close early at around 6pm for halloween horror nights

nintendo world is usually where people go first so they rope drop, if thats your priority you got the option to go in an hour early for $20 per guest extra

nintendoworld is also downstairs so if you hit that up first, then hit up everything there too which are transformers, mummy ride and jurassic world, the last two might be too much for your 6yr old but only you know if they’ll be too scared, jurassic is actually 42” height so its ridable but felt its scarier but mummy is 48”

then go upstairs to eat, maybe at harry potter world (i think they have the best food at 3 broomsticks int he whole park) then ride everything there before/after lunch, the coaster there is kiddie so i think both your kids can go in there then the dark ride is just cool but i think that might be 48” limit too so double check

then id go simpson and/or studio tour next and after that catch the waterworld show, i like it at night but again check the last showing as the park might close early when you are there

after that theres just a couple more kiddie rides like the minions and life of pets which are both next to each other then the kungfu panda which is a motion theater seats show

if you guys notice there isnt much lines and the queues are going fast then you kind of chill because if you rush, you might finish everything in half a day

have fun

dreamer23 dreamer23 have you taken your kids to Legoland yet? 2 of my kids are those ages (i have 4) and we love LL. Much more chill, good food, no crazy lines and hotels are much nicer than LA’s
Yup, I second this. Took the kids back in August and they had a lot of fun. I personally enjoyed the submarine ride because I didn't think they'd have actually fish and sharks swimming. They also have a big *** puffer fish chillin in there lol

Any idea when magic key passes will be available for general public purchases again?

Planning a trip in March for a family of 6. That enchant key is gonna cost us $6K smh. But then a 2-day pass is $2k already 😢

Good to see Tiana's Bayou will be open to GA on Nov 15th. Going with some fam on Dec. 26th
