(Depth/Speed) The one clear identity/strength the team had was killed off

Considering injuries and limited options trade/FA wise the roster is what it is and is OK...when you have Hickson and Faried as a starting front court I'd say the coach is the problem.

Before the injuries started the lineups were all over the place,killed Millers trade value, when was the last time Hamilton played? Fournier looks like he lost confidence Quincy has been ok but his defense is really bad

Terrible season, no point in making deals when you're not remotely close to making the playoffs. Andre is the point guard they need but that relationship is over.

Sources: Nuggets work out Miller, consider reunion

NEW ORLEANS -- Facing a difficult trade market and a glaring hole at the point guard position, Nuggets officials worked out the banished Andre Miller this week in New Orleans and are considering bringing him back, league sources told CBSSports.com.

Miller hasn't played since Dec. 30 following a public confrontation with coach Brian Shaw. Despite concerns about the 37-year-old's tendency to put on weight, Miller has lost 12 pounds since being banished from the team, one league source said.

The difficult prospect of smoothing things over between Miller and Shaw has become a possibility given the Nuggets' lack of point guard depth and trade deadline conditions that one executive described on Saturday as "a very difficult market." Even though Miller's $4.6 million salary for next season is fully non-guaranteed, it has still been difficult for Denver to find a team willing to give up assets to take on what's left of his $5 million salary for this year.

The ideal scenario for Denver would've been to move Miller to a contending team that needs point guard help, thus being able to receive an asset in return. Dumping his contract on a team that can absorb it, such as Philadelphia, wouldn't give the Nuggets the return they are seeking in a trade.

Though the Kings had extensive talks with Denver about acquiring Miller in December, those talks have cooled given that the Kings have fallen far out of the Western Conference playoff picture.

Embattled point guard Andre Miller has no desire to return to the Denver Nuggets, a source told Yahoo Sports on Saturday.

The Nuggets were reportedly attempting to bring back the veteran but the relationship is beyond repair, according to the source.

"The vibe is delusional," the source said. "It's a burned bridge. No reconciliation. He's waiting by the door with his bag already packed. The relationship is irreparable. Under no circumstances does he want to come back to Denver.

"Andre hasn't spoken about the situation. He's being quiet out of goodwill."

Sources said Nuggets coach Brian Shaw also has no interest in bringing back Miller and the two have not spoken with one another about a possible return. Miller was suspended two games in January after yelling at Shaw during a game.

Miller has been working out daily at the Nuggets practice facility, mostly at night away from the team. Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly has attended some of those workouts.

A source in Miller's camp told Yahoo Sports that there is hope the point guard will be traded before Thursday's trade deadline.

I was listening to the radio on the way to church this morning and they brought up some great points about the Nuggets. The purpose of this season was to see what guys like Quincy Miller, Evan and Hamilton could do so you could decide what to do with the roster going forward. Shaw was supposed to play the players George wouldn't. With the injuries and Shaw's philosophy we are seeing the same players George would play but in a system that isn't suited to their games. My hope for the second half of the season is that the players I mentioned get more minutes so we know what we have going forward.

I don't see anything changing before the injuries the lineups were all over the place. Shaw was brought in to develop players and he's doing pretty much the opposite.

If they trade Fournier I would be pretty upset as long as we can get good deals with the first round picks we have this year. Drafting would be too hard for this squad unless it's a no brainer

I still think Lawson should be traded. If he's your go to scorer and best/most consistent player it's just not gonna work. He has the most value.
