I honestly don't mind a Leto Joker movie because he is producing and that seems to be the only way to make him happy moving forward with the character, he'll probably have a good amount of creative control so I'm at least curious to see how it is.

Phoenix Joker isn't going to be canon to DCEU anyways and even though the general public might get confused, I am good with it

Seems like he must've complained until they gave him the green light.

What's sad to me is Leto thinking his version of the Joker is good and wants to showcase more of that.

flash is happening for sure, Kiersey comfirmed lately that she is returning

there was also a recent rumor that they are looking at Channing Tatum for the Captain Cold role and Pitt and Cruise are being looked at for Garrick

i believe they are still scheduled to start shooting later this year

we'll probably know more during SDCC

I can not see Tom Cruise take a Jay Garrick role unless he's getting his own movie or its just a joke cameo like Pitt's Vanisher

Tom will have to be dragged screaming and kicking to start acting his age in roles. Highly unlikely he takes on the father figure/mentor role until he's completely gray.

Unless those movies were made by the same studio, he has no experience with this.
WB/DC is in direct competition......with themselves.

This would be if Pixar made "A bugs life" then came out with "Antz" in a couple of years

It's gonna be funny if people are gonna be like "I wish they replaced Leto's Joker with Phoenix's" or even vice versa

WB/DC logo gonna pop up and then we hear a joker voice, for a teaser.
then a year later WB/DC logo gonna pop up and then we hear a joker voice for a teaser.

I just want MOS2 and a Flash movie to get out of this crappy universe and it's news and for some reason, those movies aren't even on the slate or one is but nothing is happening.

it's who they want, doesn't mean he was offered or accepted

just like Cruise and Pitt being in the top of their list, doesn't mean they are already locked in or are even close

they are as good as casted as Kutcher is for Doom

I find it funny when competing studios do that (2 Hercules movies, 2 Jungle Book movies, 2 movies about the White House being under siege, etc.)

But it's be dumb crazy if say Sony released another non-MCU Spidey movie despite Tom Holland Spidey being underway And I bet these guys running Sony definitely e-mailed each other on the possibilities of that and if it would work.

I definitely expect a lot of ppl to start saying I prefer Phoenix's Joker.
