DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

I was just reading about how when faced with the decision to push the movie date, the execs declined because they were afraid that pushing the date would show weakness during a time of a corporate merger and they were afraid they were going to lose their bonuses

Nowhere in the decision making was the quality of the movie a factor

DC/WB needs ppl in charge that actually care about making a good movie stat

Cotdamn man

They should've moved it up when they realized they were basically sandwiched between Ragnarok and TLJ.

Moving up in that situation has a clear reason why but they could've spun it as to promote confidence in the movie.

However that's in hindsight and doesn't account for the reshoots and final multiple cuz vex/cgi companies trying to fix the cgi face due the mustache.

More I think about it that's rather embrassing to release a movie with that level of cgi and it being Superman's face.

Yeah, as long as these executives are still in charge and only concerned about their bonuses and checks clearing, I don't have confidence in the DCEU. I think the creatives and talent they have are just fine. But the executives don't care about the quality of the content being put out. What they don't realize is that they could be making bank if they didn't meddle.

People joke about marvel buying the dceu films but I wish it would happen. The Infinity War trailer brought me pure happiness yesterday. I wish dc would make a movie that made me feel the same way.

Anybody got a gif of the team pose at the end of JL? Where they were looking down at the power plant turning into the garden of Eden :lol

At this point, I wouldn't mind. I'd be interested to see the Russo Brothers take on JL as they're currently casted.

They brought in Geoff Johns and John Berg, but still ultimately tacked on rushed Whedon reshoots made in 4 months with worse CG and the 2 hour mandate. They need to let the DCEU run on it's own.

Only if they let DC run as a seperate division, and has their own Feige type figure in charge, then sure.

Anybody going to this? I thought the press tour was over. I wonder if they'll be making any kind of announcement since they'll all be there minus Ben.

Didn’t know about this. Would try to smell Gal bae’s hair.
