i mean.....Was a great read, until this:
"Tacopina, Meek's lawyer, rang his contacts at the FBI. Two agents came to Philly to talk to Meek. They asked him to wear a wire in front of Brinkley – just get her to out herself on tape and his long legal nightmare would be over. Meek declined. "In my world, that's called snitching," he says flatly. Instead, he served the year of house arrest, and got an additional six years of probation. "
So you mean to tell me he had a chance to incriminate a shady judge, who has affected countless young lives with cruel sentencing, and you don't do it because of a "no snitching" policy? Ruining your income and support for your family?
Someone, please explain.
I don't. I can't imagine my future child and others from Philly facing this judge on a minor offense and receiving 10 years probation. No snitching applies only to criminals, not law enforcement that we pay for with tax dollars.i mean.....
i get it i get his reasoning
It’s about more than rap though. Basically he prioritized his career over outing a dirty judge who is maybe out here ruining black men’s lives other than himselfHe would’ve been a punching bag in rap/streets if he wore that wire. It was his choice so he gotta deal with those consequences.
the building would go insaneHe should go to the sixers game tonight and enjoy himself
