Sad to say but these shoes had more hype to them than the space jams....honest to God you have more chance grabbing the Legends of the summer 3s than these db 3s. We all want them and hell if they show up grey market backwards cole and all, I'll pay 200 for them. But I WILL NOT pay 600-800 for a sneaker that isn't a margiela, LV, or Gucci. I'm sorry JB it's not that serious

Not that I wouldn't pay for a jay for that price (I spent 400 on the black history month spizikes back in the day) I just have an issue with quality control lately, plus I mean you would prolly break more necks in those spiked out margielas than the jays....hell I broke out a pair of casual sneakers from Aldo's and females were all over those joints. U know u can't walk into a club with those DB 3s on and not expect to walk out in your socks if cats know about them in my hood lmaoooooo

Don't get me wrong if someone was to say but these flawed dbs for 450 ill jump on it. But man it's too much heat dropping these next few weeks....don't know if I can afford a restock lol like that one in July. No ******** ill grab the foams, the black grapes and the DBS and overdraw my bank account lmao

my pair from NDC came with the backwards COLE, and i waited til yesterday to talk to a nike rep about it. they took my contact info and just called me a few min ago.... "You have 2 options, keep your pair as is (backwards cole), or return them to nike for a full refund."
i then explained how nike usually give out discount codes when things like this happen... she said no more discount codes will be given regarding the Jordan DB3s. I dont care about the backwards COLE, i was just planning to use the discount code to ID some kobes and KDs, oh well.

I spoke with a Nike rep, they referred me to a specialist who asked for pictures and a few questions and said they would contact me in 1-2 business days. I did this with the hopes of receiving 20% off for the backwards Cole. I had no contact from Nike for 7 days so I emailed them last night asking for any information on my inquiry and received this email back.
The Jordan DB retro 3 Cole's were a great shoe. Cole's story is a courageous one.
I know you must be frustrated about how the shoes turned out. The good news is we are sending you a new pair.
It is expected to ship to you this Monday or Tuesday 8/5/12 via Next Day Air. It will be shipped via Fedex.
A tracking number is not available yet but please watch your email for a tracking number by Tueday.

That's pretty cool of Nike. Seems like anytime there are flaws with product they just compensate customers with a coupon code for a future purchase. Didn't think they'd actually send another sneaker, especially the DB3.
That said, they probably pulled that pair they're sending you from the pairs that were canceled and are set to go back up on the site.
