COBRA KAI - Karate Kid Sequel - Learn the Way of the Fist - S5 09/09/22

I wonder if any of these kids will get the Stranger Things treatment, or are they too old?
i dont think any of em are going to have a massive growing spurt ofher than the little asian kid and white kid with glasses. even then theyre not important enough to give screen time.

Cobra Kai Spinoff in the Works?

Cobra Kai Season 4 is on the way, but according to the show’s executive producers, there may be even more in store for the dojos’ future.

“Our hope is that we can really expand this whole Karate Kid universe and reinvigorate the fanbase, so that it’s a story we can continue telling,” Executive Producer and co-showrunner Hayden Schlossberg tells TVLine. “We do have an endgame for Cobra Kai, but we always compare it to our other favorite show, Breaking Bad, [and how] they’re able to keep the story going with Better Call Saul and El Camino.

“We spend time with Kreese’s backstory [in Season 3], but we could’ve spent more time with Kreese’s backstory. We have so many things to tell in these half-hour episodes, it ends up not being enough.”

With the series’ recent move to Netflix, an expanded universe or a collection of companion series could be just the thing to keep the spirit of Miyagi-Do alive for the foreseeable future, Schlossberg says.

In the meantime, Schlossberg, along with fellow EPs/co-showrunners Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz, confirmed that pre-production for Season 4 is “full steam ahead.” Says Heald: “We have most of the episodes written, and have the whole season figured out.”

Wondering what would make the most sense in terms of what people PROBABLY want to see.

I am sure the little teeny-bop crew would want to see something involving Sams/Robbie/Miguel.

Not sure what other storylines would have long term sustainability.

a john kreese spinoff of him being the slow nerd to the monster he is now would be great

also a chozen show with him as a sensei in a miyagi role with a japanese student could be great. or maybe an american kid living in japan getting picked on sort of like jaden smith’s kung fu kid movie
