your job pays up there with air traffic controllers and longshoremen?

yes, based on a quick google search. we don't have longshoremen in Minneapolis but if I lived in Duluth I'd give it a try. :lol

I want to switch careers in a few years.

What do you do?

lowboy driver, I move equipment for a paving company locally.

I do stuff like this.

I definitely don't take that type of hard work for granted. I don't even do manual labor around my own house. If I need something built I get a real man(or woman) to do it for me.
we ordered a bed (on stilts with a ladder) and dresser for my son. the lady asked if we needed someone to assemble it for an extra $75 or something cheap. i told my wife hell nah i got it. picked up the bed and took it home. mind you we have no power tools, just a cheap set of a few things you get from like wal mart. after a mountain of cussing and about 4 hours later, i finally get the damn thing done. back was sore and i was dripping with sweat.

last week we got a similar bed for my daughter and we had the guy come over to deliver and assemble it. he had to go and fix my son’s bed too cause it was wobbly due to the poor assembly by me. took him like 1 hour to do everything.

Blood rites are very common amongst many cultures including Afrikans.

Nobody makes me bleed my own blood. Nobody.

Ive seen this before. Theyre in south sudan i think. I think they burn the cows waste and use the ash to rub on their skin as well as the cow to protect from bugs. Their hair is like an orange colour from bathing in the cows urine.

I think theres a few countries that do this, i know india is one.

I took a history of Ancient Medicine course in college. Urine and dung have medicinal properties some of which are somewhat validated by modern medicine but most of it is ******** (pun intended).

Whatever that Bohemian guy is doing does not look healthy. His urine is super dark which means he should probably take a break from this and drink some actual water. Lol

:lol:Sometimes it still trips me out people say and do anything on the internet with all serious intent.

Someone once told me they wash their body before their hair. Made no sense to me

Yea, wouldn't you want the product to sit in your hair WHILE you are lathering up your body? But as long as they are washing their entire body.

It sounds like most of this is cultural vs being nasty. There are people out there from all races who are down right disgusting when it comes to hygiene. However, the people responding seem like this was how they were taught as children and after 16-20 plus years of doing it that way, aren't amenable to change.
Which is weird to me because you'd think as adults, they'd see the benefit to doing things a certain way in the shower vs not doing them. But hey, to each his own.

It's like washing the bottom half of a vehicle first, then doing the top last. Personally, as a man I wash my hair first then body afterwards. All the women in my family and women I've been with wash their hair at the salon or the kitchen sink :rofl:There's never been a situation of them washing their hair in conjunction with taking a shower.
