Osi Umenyiora has seen his playing time take a nosedive over the last month, and he's now just a pass-rushing specialist. As you might imagine, he's not happy. "What did I play, five snaps today?" he wondered aloud to the gathered press after Sunday's beatdown by the Panthers. "I don't know, I don't know what happened.
I thought I was the problem," he added sarcastically.
"It's an unbelievable situation, man," he continued. "Last game at Giants Stadium, probably as a Giant, just the way everything has unfolded has been unbelievable." There has been chatter since
earlier this month that Osi might be done with Big Blue, and this last set of comments certainly strengthens that idea.
NFC East blogger Matt Mosley reminds us that Osi might not be the only one on a new team next season:

Sheridan likely a goner, too
"At this point, it's hard to imagine Bill Sheridan keeping his job as defensive coordinator. His unit has struggled all season, but the fact that the Giants gave up so many yards on the ground has to be particularly galling. The Giants weren't as physical as the Panthers in this game -- and there's no excuse for that."
