Don't do it man. If you're trying to get over her why would you want to go back and smash? If you do,you'll probably realize that you still have feelings for her and you'll go running back after what she did and she'll think that now she can just cheat on any guy knowing that they'll stick with her

This is a person who has trusted me to drive her car, take her debit and credit cards, meet her parents, sleep at her home, and have generous amounts of unprotected sex with, and I the same for her. In short, we were in a relationship, that's based on trust. If there was nothing to find by going through your mates phone, they honestly wouldn't care that you did.

I love how a girl somehow blames her cheating on you. No sense of responsibility on her part...damn that just gets me heated.
