Don't do it man. If you're trying to get over her why would you want to go back and smash? If you do,you'll probably realize that you still have feelings for her and you'll go running back after what she did and she'll think that now she can just cheat on any guy knowing that they'll stick with her

In short, we were in a relationship, that's based on trust. If there was nothing to find by going through your mates phone, they honestly wouldn't care that you did.
