When you talk about individuals from Jerusalem, then you mainly get LIGHT-SKINNED. I never said they're all WHITE.

your original statement is wrong though. just because someone is jewish doesn't make them white. if you had said that jesus was an israelite, and therefore wasn't black i'd be more likely to agree with you. judaism is a religion, not an ethnicity.

I retract my original statement. It sounded as if I made a generalization and implied all Jews were white, clearly not the case. I went to Catholic school for 12 years of my life, so it's quite possible that my image of Jesus was brainwashed to me by Brother Tom.

Considering Jesus was Jewish and considering within your surroundings(tv,pop culture) most jews are lightskin, your family picked that.

never had a pic of jesus in my house. Whats the point when humans have no idea what color or race he is. JEsus to me is every and anything. He can come in the form of anything. Its a common human error to give image to something they dont even nderstand.
