Black guy hair cuts

I would never do it, I think it's smooth, I'm in my career and I I'll stick with the 360's. I picture drogba trying it

I've had 360 waves for as long as I can remember, but I'm ready to switch things up.  I have consistently gotten a haircut every two weeks for a few years now, so I'd like to grow it out a bit.

My hair is somewhat curly, so I'd like to train it like this once it reaches the proper length.  Lately, I've been using the Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curls and Waves Conditioner as a daily moisturizer, but are there any other products that I should be on the lookout for?

i dont have a pic but the hair chris webber is currently rocking is how i want my 'ish to look...

i'm twisting my hair whenever i'm bored (looks pretty much like the .gif) but the wist always goes away when i take a shower or sleep, i tried to twist it with pomade but that don't help either. i'm think about using dreadlock wax but i've been hearing allot of bad **** about it, any suggestions?

Well for locks you gotta blow dry your hair until the gel hardens... My hairdresser used to use this black gel can't remember the name but you could find it in any hair store ... but twist it real tight ... I'm talking about until like your scalp hurts and it almost feels like your hair is being pull out then blow dry it

:x whoever your hairdresser you need to dip ASAP, black gel with leave your dreads effed up and have a lot of build up in the dread in the long run. NEVER use black gel and most will tell you not to use beeswax either.

i've read numerous complaints about wax and some about gel, but nobody has an alternative that holds together your hair and doesn't build up. i don't want my twist to be longer than kendrick, so i probably need some kind of product to hold my hair together.

I just keep mine real low now.

I've also rocked the fro, cornrows, short curls but the short fade always has looked the best.

I can't even remember the last time my hair was long enough to even have waves

Hmmm

getting the Faux Hawk tomorrow, tired of ceasars.

Just gonna tell him to taper the back and go a little darker on the sides.

 I don't have hair anymore.

As far as the black gel, every hairdresser that does locks swears by it instead of beawax. But when I started doing it my self there's a gel called Jamaican Mango & Lime .. I actually still have an unopen large jar in my room .... but the same blowdrying rules applies or else it's not going to stay and you're also gonna need hair clips for it. I would use their lock grow and also a moisturizer for scalp ... it kinda looks like if you mix black pepper, oregano and oil in a bottle but I can't remember the name of it (it's not oregano, black pepper and oil mixed together that was just for a mental image of what it looks like)

Kendrick's hair however could've been just been twisted with a comb using regular hair grease

Blow drying your hair until whatever product you use dries is really what holds it together after twisting it. My main problem with the gel it is makes your hair look burnt

No offense but yall must not be in the corporate world huh? That's the only thing keeping me from rocking some of these cuts, I want a part so bad

I have almost the exact same cut Jennings has. I grow my hair out a couple inches and tell the barber to shadow fade the sides and back and leave the curls on top. Comes out clean

Do you brush while growing it out or just let it be?

This is how I'm rocking my hair currently, bottom pic. Mine is longer on the top though. Had the Usher cut (south of France or burst fade) but switched it up when I literally saw 3 dudes get the same exact cut where I work a few days later.
