Black Culture Discussion Thread

So they actually had their eyes glued to him after he entered the club? Yeah that's some prejudice stuff right there.
I hope stories like this is helping black people wake up. We need to support our own in everything. Wonder if they caught the incident on camera. Would like to see what the employee and crowd looked like.

Man I'd do a club/bar but that's another area of prejudice. Any little thing gets you shut down.

Even funnier, if you ask the people that denied entry and eventually kicked him out, if they are racist...the answer will undoubtedly be NO.

Actually wouldn't be surprised if bouncers were black.

They will sell any ounce of integrity they have to keep that security gig...I saw this alot in Miami.
They don’t have any issues following quotas when it comes to admitting certain black women and turning away others. Matter of fact alot of them take pleasure in doing so.

What he say to get kicked off?

Some people went back into his tweets from 2012 to find some jokes about dark skin women. Weird because he also has tweets praising dark women but they ignored those.

Odd considering the conversation from the last episode.

Karl got kicked off for that but the chick that wished Bruno Mars would die didn’t? I’ve been saying this since day one. This show only cares about its black female viewers.

I bet it was that sensitive Donovan dude that wanted him to be kicked off.

Kanye :smh:

Ain’t on social media so I ain’t really up on this Candance broad ..i see white America caught another one tho

Karl was trash on the show. Always played contrarian just to do so.

And that made the show enjoyable. What’s the point of having a debate show where everybody agrees? Smh
I’ve gotten to the point where i only watch the episodes that entertain me because the show is mostly geared towards black women views. Also like the fact that one of my frat brothers is a regular on there

I wouldn't say black women views. More so black left of center. But otherwise I agree.

I also don't think he was playing contrarian. I think he genuinely believes in his views. For some reason people in the united states associate blackness with left wing politics. I've found the more you explore blackness, the more this just isn't true.

Exploring my blackness has made me move even further left.

And it is not some mystery why black people are associated with left-wing politics. Right-wing politics has been hostile towards black people for a while now that goes for conservativism and libertarianism.

My point was more so that blackness presents itself across the political spectrum. Each ideological grouping arriving at it's conclusions through a mixture of personal experience, history, and objective fact. It just seems that at least within the West/First world left wing ideas seem to claim ownership of Blackness when it is only one manifestation of it.

Can't remember where I heard it, may have been a podcast, which said some black people have more in common with the RIGHT than we want to admit. Take away the racism of the right, a lot of black people are:

- anti LGBT
- against gay marriage
- anti abortion
- hyper religious
