Real talk, it took me about a year to run out of plastic bags when the ban hit NJ. Now I have just as many recyclable bags
I'm getting better about keeping them in the car now because I refuse to buy another one. I've loaded loose groceries into my car before

People literally working with tattoos and piercings all over there faces. Folks doing Tik tok videos ON THE CLOCK… this kind of stuff doesn’t matter anymore.
These kids can’t stay off their phone or spell, let alone write a resume. There’s absolutely NO integrity left in this world so, that kid will do just fine.

I absolutely do not save my plastic bags. I promise I don’t. Yet, I still have a bag full of bags in the pantry. They really do multiply on their own. You know you gotta save for when you want to fry something.

I remember going to a graduation years ago and one of the graduates names was “Hennessey”. I said to myself that child is going nowhere fast if they keep using that name.

Two total different things champ. Yes that the name of the founder……hence why he chose to name the product that. There’s a difference between having the last name “Hennessey” and voluntarily choosing the first name of “Hennessey” to name your daughter. When you or anyone else thinks of the word Hennessey……you think of liquor. Not exactly the best way to represent yourself…….that is if you have any dignity at all.

I don’t know why folks here in the “Black Culture Thread” keep trying to push this. Of course we know our ancestors and ancestry traces BACK to Africa…….but that’s where the connection begins and ends champ.
If you and your family and the family before them, and the family before them, and the family before them were born here in America……..then you are BLACK……..and proud of it might I add.
None of us here would choose to go to Africa…….absolutely none of us. That’s even if flight and travel were paid for by any country in Africa. None of us want to be in Africa, to live and stay. Maybe to visit but that’s about it.
We set up shop here and LITERALLY made America what it is. This (America) is our home. Started our own culture and way of living here, and ain’t nobody trading that in for nothing. Nobody is booking a one way ticket to Africa…….but make no mistake…..plenty of Africans (those in Africa) would book a one way ticket here to America if given the option, and with that being said you let me know which group is more dependent on the other.
There is no such thing as a Black American IMMIGRANT because we didn’t flee/run away from any country. We were brought here and made this country one of if not the best country on this Earth. This is food for thought champ……..you do the dishes.
