Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

i doubt kim and jimmy were still ******* in BB cuz of how he used to flirt with the secretary

are they still even ****** in BCS now?

you mean sugar*****?:lol

Jimmy only calls her that because she obviously knows what a piece of ***** he is now :lol

One of the BIGGEST intrigues of the show for me is how that chick got like that, what was the moment that "broke" her

no i thought i remembered him actually propositioning her to come with him or something

maybe all he did was call her that but i could have sworn it was more

It might not mean anything but I know that Vince suggested during the S3 premiere of Talking Saul that it's possible that Kim might have been around for the events in BB, but not shown because she has to do with Saul's personal life. Clearly she's a retconned character and given her nature, I doubt that if she did exist in BB she would have just kept quiet. It is interesting to see where things go. I personally think that the B&W scenes are building towards Saul and her reuniting.
This

I rewatched breaking bad not too long ago and was looking and they never really showed Saul doing anything other than working. So even tho Kim wasn't shown (and created for BCS) she could still be in jimmy/sauls life
This is possible cuz all they ever did show was Saul working in relation to Walt, Jesse, and Mike.

Seems a bit of a stretch to me that Jimmy could basically be this low as a lawyer and Kim still be with him. Then the way Walt makes this whole thing get even more dangerous and Jimmy already has an escape plan to change identities just in case.

I just can't see Kim being with him through all that if she's still a respectable lawyer. Now if she's fallen as far as then maybe.

I could also see her doing something illegal to protect Jimmy this time and end up in prison.

I mean I don't see why he can't flirt and still be with Kim.

That's the most we've seen Jimmy so the entirety of BB.

i just dont see jimmy flirting with the lady while being in a relationship w kim

its not even like she dont know who kim is and vice versa

i dont think after it took for jimmy to even pull kim that he would be flirting with the secretary if he still had kim

I don't think that highly of Jimmy to think he's above flirting.

Especially by the time of BB. He would have been with Kim for like 5 years by then.

Yeah to me, he could be down for Kim, but to every other chick, they're just a hustle for him. I mean that's why Chuck hates him, he's the one everyone loves.

Kinda like the owner of that nail salon, Jimmy was technically flirting with all those chicks, but clearly had an actual thing for Kim. If flirting or sweet talking gets him to stay in an office in the back for another week or be able to open the nail salon after hours for Kim, then he's whatever about it.

Imo i don't see Kim taking too much more of Jimmy's crap so i highly doubt they would be dating/married 6 years later.

Does anyone have any theories as to how or why he eventually became Saul? I was thinking he got disbarred and didn't want to do anything else so he got in touch with a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy that helped change his identity.

Now I'm not so sure that is the issue because it seems like he will be ok with the BAR association after last week's episode. Maybe it was a way for him to reinvent himself because if he was disbarred I think he would be more low key and not have his face plastered all over buses, billboards, and park benches. Someone, Chuck or the other dude would definitely report him especially since he still operates in New Mexico.

He would have to go to law school again and take the bar. That didn't happen.

He probably became "jewish" as a hustle, because he was never going to be the lawyer he wanted to be, or rather because he always was on the dark side and did a legal name change.

It's probably a agreement him and Chuck came to, so he wouldn't be identified with Chuck.

I think Jimmy is laying the foundation that while he is admittedly guilty of those "crimes" given the circumstances and context he has established that this is not an offense that will get him specifically disbarred.

He's already dealt with the criminal penalties with that prosecutor.
You can't be disbarred and then become a lawyer again.

Great episode and that build up to Chuck's meltdown was so well done. Bringing back Huell was a great touch, man.. this show was on fire tonight. The flashback to his ex-wife, the history between these two characters, the victory for Jimmy but you know Chuck isn't done.. he can't handle getting humiliated like that. Great episode.

Good thing Chuck never got wind of that army guy Jimmy conned to do his comercial.

He would serve as a negative character witness against Jimmy.

I can see the plot being in this year of Jimmy not being a lawyer he finds a way to stay busy and gets wrapped up in w/e **** Nacho is in and Chuck catches wind of it.

Them by accident for w/e reason Chuck gets shot and dies.

Nacho skips town with money after screwing over somebody and that explains Saul copping that plea when Walt and Jesse kidnap him.
