i played pickup at the park the other day it was just 2v2
we a couple games in and this one dude who is playing saying he rust he coming off injury blah blah blah and its middle of the game so intensity goes up alil bit
dude drives in against me and my teammate were in the paint and he tried to squeeze between us and obviously theres contact and his glasses fell off and dude said he doesn't wanna play no more
i had to convince him to play and i wont play defense and he said okay, first two shots after that were airballs lmao
Yea that's a weird story.
How old was dude that tried to quit?
Are u the guy who posts vids of them doing back flips? If so that’si’ll be 41 in a couple months & even tho i still have a some athleticism left, i’m always concerned about getting injured now…especially in any run with folk being a lil too unnecessarily overly physical…

Link to a video of you flipping?
nothing major, just a subpar backflip…tho i’ve been easing into learning a front tuck…don’t mind the unnecessary edit
Kiwi was so tough man.
This was too easy at times for him.
Yo I went to the urban air down the street with my kids. My daughter(6) was going back to back on the backflips. Mannnnn something in me idk wtf it was remembered how nice I was back in the day. Man when I tell you that up in the air and turning waiting to land. That crap took soo long to happen I felt so helpless and scared.tryna keep that ability/skill for as long as i can and it is much more ‘predictable’ than a pickup game
Was playing an intense game of full Wednesday. Clean contested shots, good tight defense, a little talking - it was good. Anyway, we were down 5-4 and as we bring the ball up I kick to the left wing and other team calls “ball ball ball”. My guy shoots and drains a three but since they called ball before he shots we didn’t count it.
They wanted to know the score.
Later, same game, I dribble up and as I jump to shoot a 23 footer they call “ball ball” again, asking the score. I busted that one for a 10-9 lead and they wanted to argue it didn’t count.
My thing is - if you’re dumb *** don’t know the score you ask when YOU get the ball, not me. And to do it twice quick like that? Nah - I’ll give you one, or two. (BTW - we lost 12-11).

Yea samething as sky zoneyea that nostalgia hits different when you remember you’re not the same you from backndaday
backflips are a relatively easy skill once you get over the very valid concern you might buss yo ***, you don’t actually have to jump high and you can spot/see your landing. is ‘urban air’ like a sky zone/trampoline park? i have been trying to teach myself to front tuck…and took a trip to a sky zone to get and being able to get so high was legitimately a bit terrifying
F For the Landing.
A++ At Being Able To Pull This Off At 41
Every time I gonto Urban Air i can never find enough of a space where no kids are around and nobody’s looking at me to try some ****
Yea samething as sky zone
Way too much air…
