The story, characters, and acting were all average. But none of that mattered. The experience Cameron creates makes you forget all of that for most of themovie.

It is true that the story is not the greatest story ever told and can be seen in many other movies. It's kind of a simple story. But it's the entireworld that was created and the way of telling the story that made this movie.

If you haven't seen it yet, I would highly recommend it. 3D wasn't that much better than regular to me, but some people like IMAX and everything. Ijust feel like it's a waste of money

Saw it, and although fun to watch.: (1) Story is formulaic, predictable. So, no surprises, = not engaging at all. (2) Way too much CGI, felt like I was in avideo game the entire time.
