Ordered 2 Macbook Airs M2 16Gb. Paid $13 to have it delivered same day. Apple uses Uber for same day deliveries. Got a message saying it was delivered and checked my door, not there, checked the lobby, not there
Uber driver stole it or he delivered it to another person.

I’m surprised Uber doesn’t have a way to have the driver take a picture of the delivery.

Ya Ive done it before and the bag just has a sticker on it and the driver scans it with his phone before he hands it over.

The one time I did same day delivery from Apple, they used Uber for me as well.

Woke up to this email. Apparently they contacted Uber and Uber said it was delivered so Apple wipes it's hands with it. Talked to 3 incredibly stupid women who insisted I'm out of luck and wouldn't transfer me to a manager. Finally got someone who would listen and was very sympathetic. He spoke with a manager and said I need to file a police report and get the police to call apple and they will start back up the investigation. Problem is police are telling me they dont contact apple, apple needs to either contact them or i need to send apple the police report number. Now waiting for a cop to call me.
I got like 10k worth of Apple stuff and if this s*** goes south I'm throwing it off my 6th floor balcony. That'll show em

Bought a medium band to compare since the large seemed slightly big. The medium fits to where the connector lies in the middle of my wrist similar to a regular watch band.
The large seems big but not too much but the connecter is off center.

Ya my building has cameras but only in the lobby so if he actually did come here we will see it. But once he's on the elevator who knows where he went. What I will try to do is see if my landlord has a way of seeing who he would have buzzed to get into the building. Then boom we know who stole em. When someone visiting me buzzes up my phone rings and I press 9 to let em in. And my phone records show no calls came at the time of delivery.
This is all in a perfect scenario because the Police might not want to look that deep into a theft under 5k but I could be wrong. Thing is, just because the police find and bust the guy doesn't mean I get my money or brand new laptops back since Apple may have wiped their hands with it by then. Once they make their decision I don't know if they'll change their mind based on the Police investigation.

Correct. No one at Apple has come up with the genius idea to email the customer a password that they have to repeat to the driver when receiving the item. Might not stop drivers stealing but it would stop drivers delivering to the wrong address. Amazon does this with expensive items. Got one today.

Try emailing Tim Cook. His inbox is monitored by higher ups. I believe it’s [email protected]
Include all the details. You will almost certainly get a call back.
I had an issue many many years ago with the Genius Bar and ended up getting a call from an Apple rep after emailing him, who then resolved my issue.

With no proof of delivery I don’t see how apple fan wipe their hands clean but I wanna say with no proof of delivery your CC will side with you but things have changed the last few years and chargebacks aren’t as easy and requires a lot of work on your end.
File that police report and stop talking to Apple ID just file the chargeback and make sure you got everything covered

A lot of them do it. It makes sense rather than having to hire your own drivers and pay health insurance. I ordered a Apple Watch a couple of years ago from Walmart for Christmas and they delivered at like 10 at night from a local store. I wasn't even expecting it the same day. They took a pic though.

back in the day i had sprint and the bill got ginormously high cuz they did me wrong
ended up finding the ceo's office number, spoke with the secretary and she got me connected and problem solved

Definitely file a chargeback. In general situations like this is why you should always pay with CC for big purchases.
A guy I know just got his replacement DJI drone delivered to him....last night....at like 10pm in the darkness. Both him and I were shocked. Luckily he was home and was watching the package movement like a hawk.

just turned off relay and it works now. Thanks. Didn’t even know iCloud relay was a thing
