i have a 64 gb phone now and rarely fill it up but shooting vids in 4k and editing then saving 4k vids from my gopro is gonna eat big chunks of memory.

Decided to get a jet black 7 the other day. Loving it so far, brings back 3GS memories

I was using a 5s for the past year after my 6s broke. Had an update I was saving but I wasn't too excited for either new phone so it was a good excuse to finally get a jet black

i brought a mac book pro barely use it. i actually use my ipad pro and cell phone more.
just depends on what you use it for the most
at the end of the day we all talking about an luxury item its like going into the Rolex thread and talking about budget Rolex's

I will say this leasing to own things at an extend cost, with no buy back incentive from the company.

keeps some people in debt and under contract for ever for a small upgrade year after year is crazy. i did the ATT program but the lady let me pay off the balance after the first cycle so i can take advantage of the buy back program. she in corp now so i have to finesse a new way.

Exactly, people spend money on whatever their vices are. To some $1k for a phone is OD, and to some doubling up on the same pair of kicks multiple times a year is OD.

People should just chill with all the pocket watching and do what makes them happy.

Different people spend $1k easy on:

- phones
- clothing
- jewelery
- vacations (smart idea imo)
- casino
- bottle service at a club
- car parts

I'm more inclined to spend $1k on tech because to ME, you get your moneys worth, but I def wouldn't spend $1k on jewelery/bottle service etc. it's all whats "worth it" to you

This is were my mind get drifting to. I’ve been watching a ton of videos and they all are basically saying this exact same thing. Also, us Plus users are actually getting a reduction in screen size with the move. Gametime decision for me.

I thought the amount of actual screen display on the X is bigger than the 7+ though.

It is. But width-wise the X is more like the 8. It’s just a skinnier, more stretched out screen than the 8+. Kinda reminds me of the difference between the 4 and 5.

As far as usable space, when you account for the notch, the floating home line that is permanently on your screen and the way the OS seems to frame things, I’d say it’s close to even between the X and 8+.

So they basically just copied what Sammy did with the infinity display, makes sense since they are the ones that produced the screens. As an owner of the S8+ it, the narrower footprint does feel better in hand, I guess one benefit from Apple adopting is that video content will now be likely produced in that native resolution so youtube and other apps won't have to be stretched out to fill the entire screen.

hey the plus series was a prototype remember when people were like no way am i getting a phone that big

also removing the head phone jack was a no go and many just sucked up and copped a 7 plus.

its worth giving a shot mostly cause i got the bread. if money or picking this over something else you want i say get the 8

I think there are pretty clear technological/features differences between the two so that wouldn't be a fair comparison.
