Man this leather case is slippery as hell hopefully it breaks in soon or something

It will. After about a month I can usually safely hold a phone with the apple leather almost vertical on 4 fingers and it doesn't slip.

Do not not test this over a hard surface

Man, it took every piece of me to bot cop the XS max today in store. It was too clean, just cannot justify copping a fun less than a year later.

Overall a clean phone, noticeably a lot faster than my 8+ too.

Had a 7+ which is basically an 8+ without glass. It’s a huge jump.

Got my dad a new battery at Apple for his 6 ($30). It was running slow and the phone was dying super quick.

Now it’s much faster and lasts all day.

Thinking about doing the same on my 7+ before the year is up.. current battery shows 87% health

I went 8+ to Max. No regrets.

Love the phone, and the screen, and Face ID is great. Took all of a day to get used to. Still prefer Touch ID for Apple Pay but the gestures and ease of use on this thing are worthy trade offs for losing the home button.

Do not cop if you have smaller hands or aren't a Siri user.

It's not worth the retail price outright IMO but with a trade in I could see it being the right price.

87% isn’t enough to drop 1k+ on a new phone, unless that’s your excuse to get the new phone....

Within a year or so, the new phone will probably be around the same...

With the iOS constantly changing you’re really not missing out on anything unless those talking emoji things is a big deal to you

Ima play the other perspective -

Once you go to the plus size phone with the max screen size, it ain’t no going back.

More than anything, the screen is a bigger change than any software update can substitute for.

But again, if you just copped an 8 or an X last year, you shot yourself in the foot anyway cause we knew this phone was coming.

My biggest suggestion would be, just don’t hold the max in hand next to your plus. It’ll ruin everything for anyone trying to fight the urge

My 6S is at 92% after 2 years.
Will prob get the battery replacement before the $30 deal ends this year.

My 7+ was also at 84%. It didn’t bother me too much, in most cases..... I got the new phone because I wanted the new phone...

It’s almost like apple added that to make people paranoid, and think it’s time to upgrade when the % gets too low, when it’s probably not necessary at that point.
