I actually got way more back from CA. But it was my own fault for keeping my exemptions the same for both Fed and State.

Word, not only is California taking more out of my paycheck, saying that I owe them, but they also raised car registration 50%. I got my registration and it's $100 more than last year, FML!
I don't think so. If you are filing single and someone can claim you as a dependent, you cannot claim yourself as an exemption.Originally Posted by trak1sh
