So is Walmart and Target the best spots to cop cards outside of the internet?

for retail, yeah those two and Meijer. If you’re looking for basketball, 9 out of 10 trips will yield nothing.

I agree. Talking to some shop owners, they've been getting calls from folks they've never seen wanting to buy cases of Chrome or Sterling. Sheesh.

I enjoy set building, though. It's fun.

Me and my brother used to collect cards from like 9 - 12. We are both in our mid 30s and have some cards at our parents house. I'm hoping we can hit a lick while the market is hot. I have not looked at those cards in at least 17 years.

Side note: I’m done with purchasing basketball for at least a few months. I think everyone’s prices are way too inflated right now. I’ve been focusing my attention over to Football. And in particular 2012 Prizm. Brady’s 2012 Prizm already goes for a pretty penny. I’ve been scooping up tons of Brees, Manning, Julio, Big Ben, Rodgers I can get my hands on.

Once basketball season is over I’m guessing the hoops crowd will
Migrate to football for their fix and will gravitate to what they know best.

Same procedure as you. I waited 10 minutes for them to stock the shelf.
