But for real though, being a minimalist is just living life simple, without clutter, being organized and clean. But upscale minimalist though?

Never heard of that.

If you did "any" research whatsoever on upscale minimalism, especially furniture and upscale homes, you'd see that the emphasis is on high quality and design. So why you're laughing, only makes you look more foolish.

recycledpaper, that's a good way of putting it. I think in some cases, personal living space (bare desks, cabinets, etc.) sort of spills over into furniture and interior design. Especially depending on what you use and what is 'decoration'.

exactly. louis vuitton can be minimalist by design. again it's not how much it costs, it's about how it looks. monogrammed wallets is one thing, but an LV taiga leather wallet is something completely different.

i am a huge fan of uncluttered spaces and furniture/possessions but the quality/design has to be on point. i believe we share the same mindset in that regard. not trying to be like brad pitt in fight club

Definitely, agreed fully. I believe we do share the same mindset.

Funny, right now on NHK there is a program on about Japanese people de-cluttering, getting rid of things you don't need, and feeling better about their lives. It works people.

i've been living like this for years now. wasn't aware that there's a proper term to use. referring to yourself as a "minimalist" is a failed attempt to be sophisticated.

yeah, as long as you dont buy any games that you wont play

I see. I only buy games I play. For the most part I can get down with this lifestyle. Never knew there was a name for it.

But I do have my older systems, but now that you mention it, I shouldn't keep them. Hmm, I have to think about that.

I just gave away all my older systems and games. No real reason to hold on to them, they're out dated and the chances that they are worth thousands of dollars in the future are fairly slim. I mean the first computer ever made isnt being auctioned for a million dollars. Old video games and systems just become clutter and more crap to pack when you move.

Actually I don't/didn't pay for video games.
DC I didn't
PS1/PS2, I didn't

360. I do because I want to play online with 2K and Modern Warfare, so I can't be illegal there
