Andrew Tate. DONE.

A lot of what you’re saying is going to be over his head sadly. Probably more of a conversation with the child’s parents.

And is DJ Akadmiks a real DJ? The way he talks spicy on his streams is wild. He’s talking about folks catching fades and the type of goons he has.

In the normal sense of a DJ? No. At least that’s not what he has built his brand on.

Akademiks is a real DJ. He used to DJ all the college parties at Rutgers. Some big time ones, and had a show or something, before he found his way with YouTube/Social Media.

That’s the one thing you can’t take away from him :lol. But he didn’t build his career on being a DJ, if that makes sense.

Akademiks seems like a generally smart and business savvy guy

But it is clear dude got some issues and insecurities that his fame and money are just making worse

He got a bad case of internet brain rot too

It’s wild the original intentions of the internet and how it’s developed these “pockets” like Q’anon, Red Pill, etc based on non researched fallacies to cater to insecure men/women.

I wish folks would share the red pill women just to see the Rusty takes.

The internet was always going to be me up like print media/television or any other tool for propaganda. … it was always going to be like this. Misinformation, cult of personality, etc. insecure human beings always want to be a part of “something” or seek motivation for someone they think highly of.

tate stole the frank tj mackey character and made a fortune. the 2020s will be known as the grift decade.

granted tate presents an extreme in the continuum of masculinity both in his lifestyle & being a provocateur that is untenable for the vast majority of men but who outchea is actually espousing & showing a decidedly masculine perspective that would be seen as positive by young men?

so much hand wringing about young dudes following this stuff, but is it really surprising given the representation of men in popular media?

This Andrew Tate impersonation had me dying

nah, #bottomg is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

Good question.

Who are some online personalities that we wouldn't mind our young men looking up to/following?

Yes, in an ideal world the men in their direct physical worlds would take on that role but unfortunately that isn't the case with a lot of our young men.

Ain’t no Fred Hamptons, Malcolms, MLKs, Farrakhans, James Baldwins in this era…..

Farrakhan is still alive lol but yes I understand what you're saying

What about Kevin Samuels pre "Average at best"?

David Goggins is another motivational type guy
I follow Style OG on youtube for style tips but he's been giving dating advice recently

If they’re not black….Bill Burr I suppose?

when it comes to online personas, i think it unfortunately tends to trend towards extremes…hard to get/keep an audience without that thing that elicits passions, and what is on the mind of most young men, especially when you consider the statistics that point out that this generation is the least sexually active compared to previous generations and for guys in particular

LEBRON JAMES

🤣 not sure if seriously, but given that bron has been in the public spotlight with nary a misstep (at least that is known) since he was literally in high school i wouldn’t disagree actually, but it is not as tho he is outchea pontificating on the sexual marketplace tho

not familiar with ‘style og’ but if you look at the men that do have influence these days with young men, at least the ones that draw the most ire, it’s really the guys that say anything that can be interpreted/perceived as negative about wokeness and/or women.

if you stay away from intersexual dynamics worse case is people might be dismissive of it as a ‘self improvement grift’ because no one really has that much of an issue telling men to, get in the gym, make more money, basically that they just plain need to be better in order to improve their overall prospects…so as long as you avoid talking about the unflattering parts as it pertains to how men & women operate, especially if it is seen as disadvantageous to the wants of women

folk don’t really have the same energy when talking about the awkward dudes, broke boys, the out of shape or never been in shape fat homies, ‘lil **** energy,’ the short kings, skinny men, the ugly & 😂 ‘medium’ ugly guys…or that the desire to be assertive, competitive, rambunctious, & be physical is seen as improper, juvenile or old fashioned.

some understand there is this double standard but given the all the talk about equality we talk about & extol to our boys, this is the environment young dudes are coming up in where is perfectly fine to criticize men and the things they want, some of it is deserved fasho, but saying things about/that women don’t like makes you a misogynist, patriarchal, weirdo who hates women and then are surprised that the young men gravitate to the caricatures, especially when these guys seem to have the results

Who are the people on the other side of the extreme when compared to people like KS/Tates?

There aren't many (if any) good ones on the other side of the extreme because a lot of those people don't care about male issues.

From what I've seen someone like Jocko is way better than a Tate. I'd imagine his audience is mainly conservative white men though.

Explain what his angle/politics are? (In short)
Hes muslim and speak on generally mindset, self mastery, and financial literacy. I dont agree with everything anyone says,100% of the time, but he's someone Ive come across that is logical and is pretty thoughtful in his approach.

Edit: after further thought, he does have thoughts that the masses may deem controversial (far far Tate levels. More traditional thought), so he may not be for everyone. I didnt pickup on it cus I forget my perspective its pretty controversial lol.

The flip side to people like Samuels and Tate are women who have YouTube and TikTok channels ****ting on and blaming men for everything to an irrational degree.

There are dudes like Hasan who mock and criticize manosphere-type dudes, but his rhetoric is not the flipside of theirs
