Damn dude. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Keep us updated if you can. Really hope all turns out well for her.

Question though, why do you attribute it to the Bronx?

Good looking y'all I really appreciate it . I say the Bronx (South) because it has the highest rate of people with asthma in the US according to the doctors at the hospital . I have asthma also, had it since I was 3 and I still suffer from it but when its your baby especially with her only being 14 months its ROUGH and scary as hell . I'm gonna have to start looking to move either upstate or new jersey . The South Bronx is just filthy .

Agreed. Spent about half my life in the south Bronx. It was pretty bad. Growing up in that, you don't really realize how bad it is until you go somewhere else.:{

You especially don't realize how much of an effect the environment has in your health.

If it wasn't for Miami going off in that crazy 27 game win streak, the 1st seed would be a lot closer. Just how things are.

I still say we shouldn't get the 2nd seed and try to get a seed that matches us up with either Atlanta, Miwaukee or Brooklyn.

Indian and Chicago will face eachother int he first round and who ever wins that series--we'd face in the 2nd round. Hoping it's Indiana, because we do not match up well against Chicago by any means.

Knicks have to get the best seed they can possible. The Knicks can beat anyone from 2-8....we can't try to get the perfect matchup path as I am sure the team is not thinking that. As a professional team you can't have that loser mentality. The goal is to win the division and get the best seed possible and that is it.

With all this lakers streak talk, I been realizing just how good our team must have been to beat them twice in that era

Only time we ugly had an all time amazing team. Even had an MVP.

the 90s Knicks were nowhere near as talented.

That stupid lowball offer for Kareem :{

I had asthma growing up, went to the hospital as a child many times. Had to get shots, csrry an inhaler snd what not during my youth. Eventually it just stopped being a problem.

My little brother (13 years younger) had the same problem, I remember going with my mom numerous times for it when he was that young. He's fine now to and he's 9.

It may be a situation you're going to have to bring her to the doctor throughout the years, but she'll be fine. Just please, please don't smoke in the house (if you do), Good luck tho.

i wish more of us realized this cause that is exactly what it is, a losers mentality.  although it is kinda understandable from a fan standpoint given our recent history.

You talkin bout tradin Clyde. :{

Would have traded Clyde for Kareem any damn day of the week.

Kareem would have guaranteed us another 3-5 championships easy. Our franchise would have gone the historical route. Who knows where we'd be today.

If The "Knick curse" is real, it started when we didn't trade/acquire our local NYC hoop legend Kareem, esp when he wanted to come to NYC. Since then, literally nothing historical has happened lol.

A lot of it has to do with ownership too. I think Grunwald is smart and craft GM. He's gonna put us in a great position to compete and get the players possible. I'm sure if Amare wasn't hurt so much and not living up to his contract--Grunwald would've stacked this team up.

Is he coming with Magic? I know how this story goes...like every other Knick story.

Instead of getting Knicks 90s and Ewing, we'd just be talking about Knicks 80s and Kareem.. Welp...the Knicks never got him help. :{

Kareem would have won in the 70's with the Knicks during his prime, Idk about the 80's, but we ended up trading Clyde to the Cavs a couple years after missing out on the Kareem.

Good point about Magic tho, 3-5 championships, maybe I'm bugging. But I enjoy have faith in the unknown. It helps with being a Knick fan.

Guess who has the longest winning streak now?
smile.gif

the title should be changed though :{

"My fouls aren't basketball plays" I wanted to jump out the window when I heard him say that.

Dude went a month without having a foul called on him...and he has the nerve to complain about officiating.

:rollin

Lebron wouldn't know what to do with himself if he got the same treatment from refs.

that's why Knicks fans have to support Melo on that. More attention should be brought to the obvious difference in treatment than other superstars in the game. I feel the pieces are all aligning, as I have felt they eventually would...all season long.

This team should not be afraid of Miami. It was built perfectly to beat Miami. Look at the roster. It's perfect. The issue is just health. If everyone is ready for the playoffs...I see this team beating Miami. I actually expect it. Melo wants one and this team is his chance. Cats like KMart have tasted the Finals twice and want a ring. And no team wanted to pick him up? He's gonna go in. Felton is fat and can't play. Got something to prove. JR is wild and inconsistent and John Starks. I have a feeling he's gonna disprove a lot of that. I can go on and on, but you get the point. Them beating Miami should not be a surprise to anyone
