You ain't alone man, Final Fantasy IV is pretty much my favorite out of the series. I have damn near every single version they came out with I have the original SNES, FF Anthology edition, GBA version, PSP remastered edition, and the DS remake (needa get around to playing that)

I haven't played all the games listed in the thread but to me, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has some of the best music I've ever listened to, period. With surround sound it's a great experience.

Idk if this has been mentioned before I'm not combing through this whole forum to find something (unless there's a method to do this I'm not a frequent user of this site so I'm limited) but Brandun Deshay is a producer/rapper who's famous for sampling classic video game soundtracks and making them underground hits like Chrono Trigger-Secret of the Forest for Dom Kennedy-Locals Only and Mario for Dom-Where I Belong and also Final Fantasy for Casey Veggies-Hear Me Screamin and for his own **** and so on.
