Dude you vote for Nader you have no ground to talk about "learning experience".. He has been running since my dad was a kid and thereason he gets nowhere near the Presidency is because he is not fit to be it.. He is yesterday's Ron Paul..Originally Posted by SenatorJeffSmith

But here is my question, do you honestly believe that Nader is qualified to run a country? Granted I voted for him in my first election (2000) but the idea of that man taking a job as complex as president of the United States scares the hell out of me. One of my main issues with Obama is he is all unachievable rhetoric, but Nader is living on the moon in comparision.
Instrumental in the passing of the following legislation:
If anyone, Nader would be the ideal president. The man's WHOLE life is dedicated to fighting for consumers and all people in this country-- to him serving the public is a vocation. He's done more for American than most presidents.
- Clean Air Act
- Clean Water Act
- Consumer credit disclosure law
- Consumer Product Safety Act
- Co-Op Bank Bill
- Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act
- Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
- Freedom of Information Act
- Funeral home cost disclosure law
- Law establishing Environmental Protection Agency
- Medical Devices safety
- Mine Health and Safety Act
- Mobile home safety
- National Automobile and Highway Traffic Safety Act
- National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act
- Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Act
- Nuclear power safety
- Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
- Pension protection law
- Safe Water Drinking Act
- Tire safety & grading disclosure law
- Whistleblower Protection Act
- Wholesome Meat Act
- Wholesome Poultry Product Act
Again, as I said, I voted for Nader in 2000 & have seen him speak multiple times, so I am well aware of the accomplishments which he and his supporters feel the need to speak on ad nauseum. But again, what in his vast experience as a consumer advocate proves to you he is qualified to run one of the most powerful nations in the world? I appreciate his dedication, but no part of any of these accomplishments tell me that he is able to make hard decisions reguarding the nations welfare or foriegn policy. You can have the best intentions in the universe, you can be the most honest and above board individual, but that does not mean you can run a country. Next you are going to tell me you would vote for Michael Moore. Don't get me wrong, I would say alot of the same things about Obama, but we need a canidate with both credability and leadership qualities. Nothing about Ralph Nader suggests to me he has any ability to lead. My assumption is that this was your first election though, so I can only hope this will provide a learning experience for you in the future.
Maybe those who voted for a candidate who chose to hand a free $700 Billion to corporate crooks who should be in jail need a "learning experience".
So you got nothing? That is what your really saying.Originally Posted by Whateversclever

The reason he doesn't get votes is because he's against the corporate choke hold on Washington. Where do you think Obama and McCain got alot of their dough? Who runs the debate commission? The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was established by the R's and D's in 1987. Ever sincethen I believe only one candidate (Ross Perot) was allowed to debate--- he got 19 million votes.Originally Posted by Essential1

Peace in Palestine, all troops out of the middle east, Universal Health Care, closure of torture camps, economy back to 1950s levels.
Couldn't agree more. Even tho I voted for mccain I wasn't happy with him.Originally Posted by Kickmatic23

they have only FURFACE DIFFERENCES while having the same common ULTIMATE GOAL. what is that goal?? NEW WORLD ORDER!! we're done either way man. i already
knew obama was a controlled puppet. the presidency is nothing more than a puppet seat. anyone who knows anything about the inner workings of this country
knows this. that way, when the ppl get tired of the way things are going, the ones who are really running things can easily swap out the puppet while they
still run the show from behind the scenes, void of any public scrutiny.
also, us black folks have absolutely no excuse for failure now, do we?? i mean, considering we have a black man in office now. that means ANYTHING is
possible, right??
btw, my suit is flame proof, so kids flame away!!

Its been 10 months right?? had we seen changes???? some, but nothing really that you can say has helped the country out. Stimulus package, helped out the economy??? NO. All I see Obama doing is winning bogus awards, bowed to Middle eastern Kings and act like a celebrity. Dude your the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, STEP UP OR STEP ASIDE. Reform the health care issue, Get people back to work, work with Republicans to get solutions to tackle the issues at hand. Tell you what Obama, instead of waisting some loot on that trip to Oslo to accept your so call "Nobel Prize" why dont you fly out to Cali and meet people in my area that are looking for a Job or need some help.
@ Niketalkers still on his jock.
