All Things Sports Media Thread!!

Cancelled for today only.

Saw PTI tweet that they're on ESPN2 today. It's the college basketball tip-off marathon today on ESPN, so all the regular shows either get moved or don't air.

Glad Bill was able to do it since ESPN stiffed him back in 07-08

Bill did a BS Report with Obama a couple years ago though.
08

the difference in moments b/t the two were dramatic. Potential first black president vs a black president that's a lock to be re-elected. This GQ interview would've never happened either if he was under ESPN

Screaming A hosting SportsCenters now? :lol :{

I have no clue why whoever is in charge at ESPN thinks this is a good idea..

I mean I get why first take works, it's the same reason Fox News works.. But I really don't get this move

What is it under on the iOS pod app?

It may not be listed yet because it used to packaged in with the Grantland Sports pods. Now it's its own individual pod, so may take an episode or two to get its own listing.

I use Player FM and The Lowe Post has it's own channel.

I just subscribed to Channel 33. :hat

They always end up back at the mothership...

SI.com has learned that Rachel Nichols is returning to ESPN to work as an anchor and reporter. She is expected to anchor her own program, contribute to SportsCenter and other platforms including E:60, and work on issue-oriented journalism. She is expected to start at ESPN in early 2016.

During her nearly three years at CNN and Turner Sports, she covered NBA and Major League Baseball for TNT and TBS and major sports events including the Olympics and Super Bowl for CNN.

Jim Miller of Vanity Fair first reported the news on his Twitter feed.

Them giving her, her own show must've been nice. I did miss her saying "es-pee-ehn".
