But you don't see me pulling an Aaliyah and writing a four page letter about Jordan Brand's declining quality.
If you're that unhappy about what Jordan Brand is putting out, stop buying and focus your attention on other brands. Lord knows that there are plenty of other companies outside of Nike and Jordan Brand that produce them.

Naw, no confusion here. You talk about "knowing about quality" and having all these retro and OGs, but yet willing to accept the sub-standard quality JB is now crapping out and then call those of us who grew up with the brand 'whiners' because we expect a
quality product that we so loved in the past and still do now.

You speak as if JB can't produce a better product. I've been on this site long enough to read all your unsubtantiated nonsense theories about "the factories don't have access to the same leather..." yada, yada... The simple fact is they are maximizing their profits
by taking advantage of the loyal customers. Do I hate on them for making as much money as they can?, no, its business. Do I expect better for the ever increasing price tag they are asking for?...yes.

And yes, I've stopped purchasing JB shoes a long time ago, but am still always holding out the small hope that they one day decide to honor their loyal customers by producing a quality product that doesn't have "freaking vinyl" on it in place of real leather....

As long as they continue to produce retros of beloved shoes there will be those of us 'purists' who 'whine' for better quality for the money they're asking...I'm appreciative of those on here who demand better because, who knows, pretty soon all their shoes will be
made completely out of plastic....

Take a look at your sig, true Nike and Jordan Brand quality died in 2005. As much as you guys whine, its not coming back. You know why the Banned 1s featured premium leather and Nike Air? No, it wasnt because Jordan Brand finally started to care about your concerns. Its because the Black/Red 1 has been released so many times that interest for it was dead, and it showed in their sales. So, they had to make it a premium product and still make it limited to only select outlets. Point of the matter is Jordan Brand isn't going to use premium quality unless they HAVE to. You think Motorosport VIs and Flip IIIs would have sold with the same standard quality? I don't think so.
The quality of OG colorway Jordans isnt going to go up. The quality isnt going to be top notch because it wasn't top notch in its glory years. The leather in 1994-01 was nice but wasn't any different than any other Nike sneaker of the time. Call me naieve, but I've come to accept Jordan Brand for what it is today and move past it. I still get all the colorways I liked as a kid without fear of cracking midsoles. And since I get a discount of most Jordan Brand releases I buy, I'm basically paying the same price that I paid for Jordans 5 years ago so the print point is mute to me.
