Black laces tho. White/sail laces for the OW's and the AMMs. But ima keep it OG on these.

If they got that ashy suede I definitely will not buy them. I don’t care how GOOD the shape is. That suede is an automatic no go.

It’s hard to tell in those pics if it’s that nasty suede or nubuck though. Need to see more.

Who needs therapy when next year is so stacked with releases? Sure, being able to dissect ones own trauma and deal with it accordingly is nice, but non gimmick Grape 5s with Nike Air on the back are even nicer. Someone fact check me but aren't the grape 5 and fr5 black tongue the final jordans to finally return with nike air? I don't count the fresh prince grape 5s with no laces. Crazy it took em that long and those are heavy classics

True Blue 3s need to return with the new cut and shape, same goes for the Black Cement 4s. I know they technically were both Nike Air releases (BC's released twice with both gimmicky and non gimmicky releases) but it would be nice to have definitive versions of them with the new shape. But yeah, besides that, it's just the Grapes and Black Tongues that haven't gotten proper Nike Air releases.

I think you’re missing a couple. White Sport/September blue 6s and white/infrared 6s are two that immediately come to mind that haven’t had a retro release with NA. Both are needed badly, especially the wht/infra 6.

Yeah you beat me to the punch. I didn't forget those but went to go take a shower and immediately after getting in I realized I forgot to mention those. I figured no one would be awake at this time (it's 2:37 AM here) so I was taking my time coming back to edit my post.

I hope they bring back the high tongue on those 6s and the next iterations of the Black Infrareds, Carmine's and Maroons. Give me Black Infrareds with a higher tongue, smooth leather contrast heel to mimic the look of the OG Durabuck heel, and polyurethane insoles with reprints of the Fall 1991 Air Jordan Collection catalog and Flight Club mailer to top it all off and I'd grab 3 pairs. Could also add some Jordan 5 lace locks in the box as a reference to this photo.
I know JB don't care enough to do all this but a man can dream. I have digressed enough now back to the main topic before my posts get deleted for derailing the discussion.

I don't think the tongues were ever this tall. That's his weird weartest sample that still had the toe rand.
