AIR JORDAN 3 BLACK CEMENT - NOVEMBER 23, 2024

Missing the key part: Vietnam. China probably has the better molds for the 3s

Absolutely agree.. LN3 China pair is optimal.. however.. I did get a Vietnam VH1 pair and it was very similar to the pair we are all referring to as perfection. The Vietnam pair had the latest production date.. It could be Nike revised or the Factory production manager in Vietnam really was in to OG Jay's.. I want to think its the latter.

Don't start the disinformation campaign yet, the toes are still the same that they've been the last few years.

I think people are seeing different angles online and getting confused, the toe on the Jordan 3 is not becoming boxy.

Some toes do curve upward because some factories tighten the shoe too much when they stitch and glue them but the shape hasn't changed.

I’m liking what I’m seeing. On feet these are gonna look right, better than any retro in over two decades. I plan on wearing mines ASAP, not shrine-ing them or going to enter some sort of “my look the most perfect” competition to please my ******** ego either.

Two pairs for me, did the same with the WC last year and my first pair could be done by the end of the year with the way things are looking 🤷🏻‍♂️ didn’t mean to beat them as much as I have but it’s hard to pick another sneaker over them most of the time. Pair 2 will come out in another year or two so hopefully another retro is in the works by then/around then (maybe both cements in ‘28?) Wonder if those trashing them have a retro from 2008 whether it’s CDP, 2011, or 2018.. Worst case scenario the toe on these is like 2001, still better than 2008/2011/2018. Wish they had the ankle of the ‘94 since we can’t get OG but these will suffice. I’ll be in again in 2028.

Nice review and allowing the community to get a look at the shoes. It seems like there is going to be serious difference in pairs. The version he has in his hand is made in Vietnam. Not sure if this going to be a Vietnam production run only.. but fingers crossed. The shape is not bad. However, expect to get some sort of variance between the left and right shoe.

The logic makes sense, its is the Green Glow but in black cement format. It is what it is man.

This comparison to the 2018 gives us a better understanding of the less boxy look.

Was so stupid to drop green glows knowing damn well the black cements were right after. ....should have been these or the crimson 3s. I'm so burnt out with most drops these days
... almost need that goofy swag neon era to return . Fun times back then in these.....

Have to say, if these are truly it, I’m very disappointed. It’s a major step backwards for Nike after having the 3 more or less nailed the last few years. There was absolutely no reason to change molds for these, wtf?? They are still MUCH better than the 2018, but this is definitely a serious regression from the near perfection of last years WC3. I just don’t get the decisions this company makes sometimes. This was my most anticipated shoe of the year, that title now goes to the Columbia 11.

Here we go again 🤣

I've noticed on here ppl are wayyyyy more serious than real life casual sneakerheads and I totally get that! But you'd be surprised the ppl I've heard at conventions bring these up throughout the years. They are fan favorites .
That infrared colorway isn't bad but the shape is bad and the era it's from is bad.

This is all correct!

However, something that is a "fan-favorite" at sneaker conventions in 2024 is more likely than not, gonna be trash....to ME.

A lot of times when something is popular with the masses, it's often garbage. Take popular music that's fed to the masses for instance. But....that's a whole other convo.

I'm an old curmudgeon OG so I'm very bias.
