the original insoles featured a graphic based on the rising sun flag
it was seen as offensive, and thus ordered to be switched out by nike.
they were replaced with plain white insoles.

I still like these the best out of all the retro XIIs coming out, but I'd like to get them well below retail. $150 is too much money for JB quality thesedays, though I've seen these in person, and they're much better than the black/red retro XIIs in that respect.
