Thats an awesome story. Those things are gold to many of us in here. Could only imagine having a ds 95 concord in hand. Not to many of those probably sitting around anymore.

You should check the laces on the Black Concords, then look at the 2019 Playoffs. The laces are anorexic on the Black Concords, in comparsion.

And they're still too skinny on the Playoffs. Swapped those out as well on mine, along with the 2016 Jams/black concords.

Calling them Space Jams is silly, just like calling Playoff 7s Raptors. But black concords sounds weird lol

I noticed that the lace thickness is all over the place on the toddler pairs. The animal print pair has the same laces as adult pairs.

That technically what the 1995 and 2016 version are. The one based on the movie have a stitched 23 and concord Jumpman.

I thought it was confirmed the movie pair was royal blue. It’s definitely hard to tell. But I’d rather call them Playoff PEs then Space Jams. That’s technically what the 2016 is. That’s why I called it silly to call them SJs.

The pair he first wore in 1995 had 45 though, how would the 2016 be considered Space Jams is all I’m saying if they are the PE from that year, before the movie.

True but the only difference is the number. The movie shoes LOOKED blue on the screen but they were concord. The original Space Jam retro+ colorway never existed prior to its release. If Mike hadn’t decided to change back to 23, the movie shoe would be the same as the 2016 retro.

It’s Nikes fault for including all that space jam branding even though the shoe is actually the 95 PE.
