I'm going to tell you something right now: I enjoyed your post. "Antiquated" skills like reading and writing are fundamental. Don't ever let people on the internet etc discourage you because your post is too long or ... whatever. That was hardly a "wall of text." Until you can find me a career where it's acceptable to substitute "dis" for "this," I'll maintain that position. Yeah, I know, this is just a dumb forum about sneakers, who cares. But the more you practice proper skills in all walks of life--yes, even on this website--the better off you will be. You're young and off to a good start. Keep it up.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I always see a lot of you guys talking about your memories with certain Jordan's back in the '90s and the stories are such a great read. It's nice getting to, in a sense, reminisce on a past I wasn't present in and getting to know why certain silhouettes came to be someone's favourite. So I just wanted to try and contribute my own version of that walk down memory lane I suppose.

Being born in 96 I don't have any memories of Jordan's playing time in the NBA outside of his time with the Wizards faintly. The Space Jams are my favorite 11 of all time due to my childhood fascination with cartoons and Looney tunes (Boomerang & CN > Nick), but the last time these dropped I was 15 and in high school. These are on the list of "I missed out when I was young and broke but now I'm not so I'm getting a pair for myself in '18, a pair for 15 year old me, and a pair for fetus me in 95 who missed out cause mom and pops couldn't speed the process up"

MJO23DAN MJO23DAN whats your collection of ogs consist of?

*side note, I enjoy nightwing and mjo vids but they both frequently say “jb did a good job” with certain retros when they most certainly did not. Don’t give them credit for **** retros or they’ll never fix the problems.

Some things like the stitching of the Jumpman is better than the OG *** cracks, patent leather height of the 11s recently, some of the NRG models with softer leathers out the box...stuff like that. I don't want to entirely nitpick because not every retro is going to be hands down 100% great off the line so I'll give JB credit where credit is due.

As for OG collections I've completed - 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 23. There's some colorways in there like the regional 19 and 20s I didn't cop and others where I just wasn't feeling the colorways. I want to tackle the OG 9 and then eventually 1-6 but that's a lot of $ and just criteria I try to follow as far as pairs being DS and in my size. The OGs I have are all my size 10-10.5 with exception of a few 9.5 but that's where I'm at. It's been awhile since I did any sort of collection video. I probably won't do one again. It's a pain in the *** pulling **** out.

As for everyone else supporting my content whether on social media or YouTube...thank you.

Waiting patiently for these. I remember trying to get these in 2011. Finishline charged my mom 3 times, I didn’t even get a pair and had to wait until Monday to get her money back. I’ve only dealt with Nike online since. Good thing she did her Christmas shopping. 10th grade me was crushed.

I hope Nike gives a $20 off coupon again and we can use them on these. I used one on the Heiress pair for my sister a few years back. I received a $250 Nike gift card from a family member. I bought some slides and a tee from the outlet with the family pass and have $216 left on the card.

What og 9 are you missing

doublemesh96 doublemesh96 I don't currently own any OG 9s. I caught a sz 9.5 in the white/black a few months ago on eBay but I really like to stay in my size range. I'll probably start hunting next year. Leading up to these Concords and xmas presents for family at the end of the year has me budgeting funds.

This is honestly bad advice. In the professional world, large amounts of text are frowned on. You should be quick, and to the point, no one has time to read that stuff.

You misconstrued what I said. I never advised him to make "walls of text" his hallmark.

I hope this is a joke. Your telling me well thought out replies are frowned upon in the professional world?

I dont think so. I think he's saying that it would be better to be concise and to the point instead of long winded.

So you're telling me all those years I spend at my University writing papers (Senior year I had to do two ten page papers. One single spaced, the other double spaced.) was for nothing.

I know technically it wasn't for nothing (helped build character and good work ethic)

Personally, I enjoy reading some of the paragraphs in here. Could they be long winded? Yes, I am guilty of that as well at times. Maybe some people, like me prefer to explain more than others. I like the stories, and the pictures that really are painted through words. As far as the Concord stories, I enjoyed reading all of them. I refrain from telling all of mine with this shoe only because it will be long and I really cant sum it all up in one or two sentences.

Didn't think my response would start or possibly reignite a conversation about post length. I'll try to keep it (somewhat) brief from here on out.

I know this is a kinda tangent but since is the same shoe but different CW I can y’all tell a story about how I fell in Love with the 11 in general .just to answer the question about what got you into the Concords. for me and I’m sure people my age or around my age remember (born in 92’) when space jam came out in theaters we got these collectible toys anyone else remember above? And seeing the space jams in the movie for the first time I felt in love didn’t know that the Concords existed but of course when I saw those for the first time also I fell in love too just alil story I wanted to share
