What's with that comment about the drop date? Thought these were confirmed for Sept. 18??

Yeah, soles don't look right here but it's still way better than the translucent black/gray soles on every other half-assed retro of these. Either way, the lighting in that pic has to be wonky. The collar and Jumpman look almost as pink as they do red ...
Also, looks like they didn't bother fixing the toe box, but I didn't really expect they would.

Idk sole looks pretty spot on to me. I can see it past the grainy pics. It’s supposed to be an opaque (non clear) smoked sole like pictured, not a black smoked sole like the trash retros that we’ve gotten. I can’t wait for these man. Finally they’re done right.

the soles seem a bit lighter than the OG version from what I remember, but they will eventually yellow with age. still much better than the charcoal soles

These are a must. Probably grab 2 of these if prices aren't outrageous. Those that know will be after these but the general AJ fan probably won't care about these imo. Hopefully that will keep prices in check.

Outsole looks pretty close to me…Damn sure closer than charcoal outsole and cement print on the upper…First time they’ve ever tried to put out an actual retro of the OG’s out as far as I’m concerned…

Yeah, all I meant was they look a little more plain clear than I remember. Thought they came with a bit more gum-like tint. But hey, it’s been 25 years LOL
