AFRICAN HISTORY X

I don't believe that black people are god's chosen people and will then be allowed to rule over jewish and white people because jewish and white people are the devil.

No?
What do you think the nature of things are out of curiosity?
From my on world view, I believe that all men are created equal. We share the same ancestors, we are all brothers. None is greater than the other, none is more evil than the other. Hate is fabricated by weak minds, the most hateful people have had the simplest insecurities (see: Hitler, Amin, Hirohito, Polpot, Vlad etc...interestingly a lot of these individuals claimed some sort of 'divine ancestary' as a pretext for their hate).

My goal in sparking this topic was to just gain insight into african history, some of the people on this board have african parents especially Naija guys. And a lot of african americans are oblivious to african history from a social and political stand point, all they know is egypt. I also thought it would be interesting to see some of the forgotten kingdoms, and what they did in those kingdoms. As someone stated earlier, there is a similiar history with South America.

I did not intend for it to be a pedestal for some pro black israelites to spew hate.

Not necessarily all "black people" but a generation that did the right thing was promised to be blessed. That's what I got out of the books.

I think maybe todays children could become that generation. Not the adults who are indoctrinated into the ways of the world.
I don't believe that the god of the bible is that narrow minded.

I don't believe that the god of the bible is that narrow minded.

You should get a little more familiar with the bible then.

The inclusional tone of the bible and Christian doctrine is a fairly recent concept.

I'll put it this way it's insulting to my intelligence as a young african man that a few hundred 'african americans' are apparently 'god's chosen people'. Furthermore, that they are conveniently 'levites', all this despite the fact that they have no geneological records to prove this (something that israelites, especially levites are supposed to keep track of).

But like I said to main man, if you want to talk about that kind of thing feel free to make a thread about it.

This is a really big problem. I went back home last year and observed this first hand. Half the people on flights to africa are Chinese. They go into countries buying stuff on the cheap to send back to China (namely raw materials, and minerals). The sad part is that local governments give them so many consessions for upfront money. The even worse part is that they hardly use local people to even do low skill manual labor, as an example they'll send young guys from China to come do low skill jobs that a local person gould easily do. There is also a growing suspicion that a lot of the people who come to do such work are ex convicts and the like, and can only get such work in africa.

So it is an entirely new form of colonialis, albeit self imposed by unsuspecting african governments.
People complain about Mexican immigrant labor destroying the economy.

China is able to export labor worldwide.

I've seen them working on infrastructure projects in the Caribbean as well.
It's not the same thing.

Fair enough. And I know that wasn't your intention, i admire the fact that you've tried to explore your personal horizons.

As far as blacks being the chosen people, Does it matter? I've never seen blacks lead a genocide or anything like that. It's usually brought up for a self improvement, spiritual uplifting topic.

My personal view is that the "hue-man" is the original man and the most accurate reflection of the Grand creator. I don't say that from genetically superior stand point, but just something that is a fact in my mind.

I think the disputes come in when people have attachments to the physical body. Therefore, a lack of melanin can easily make someone feel at a disadvantage if they were to believe that black is supreme.

The soul is just light, the more knowledge of self you possess the brighter you shine regardless of the physical vehicle.

cmon son...black vikings?
so you looked at one entry and said this site is bogus? I've gone into college libraries and seen books on aliens. Neither have been proven true but people write about both. You obviously missed the books by Diop, Van Sertima, Jochanon, Tony Martin, Garvey and a plethora of others that I don't have time to name. A basic search on any given african topic on that site or the scrib'd will pull up many results.

sidebar: what's your beef? You seem to be upset whenever people begin contributing to the thread.

It's not that one entry. That one entry speaks to the theme of the site, and all the stuff that you posted.

The stuff you have been posting goes towards the same theme. This aolternative history where everyone who ever made a name for themselves in history is somehow black. Next you'll be posting about how albert einstein and cofuscious where black. It's all conspiracy theories and very distracting.

the frustrating part is I have no agenda. But maybe it's because I wasn't born here. And it's incredibly sad to see when people try to appropriate other cultures so as to seem more enligtened.

I just find it confusing when on one instance you say blacks ruled egypt, then they where the original israelites, and now they found america first because they were vikings. Stories don't match up.

My agenda was just to share documented history of africans, starting with some of the political history associated with the wave of independence in the sixties and then considering some of the documented histories of african civilizations.

I find it funny that you'd quicker claim Lief Ericson than you would Mensa Musa. Maybe its seems like an agenda to you, but to me it seems more shocking than anything.

But feel free to contribute. Just don't expect no one to check you when you post something that is suspect as hell.

You said you don't have an agenda. Then said you have an agenda. ok. moving right along.

The Ancient Kemites called themselved black people and differentiated themselves from asiatics. Herodotus himself even said they were black. The Sumerians referred to themselves as ùĝ saĝ gíg-ga literally meaning "the black-headed people" No one is claiming anything that hasn't already been stated by first hand sources.

Jesus was said to have bronze skin and hair like wool. Sounds like a black man to me.

Lief Ericson? I don't know who that is. I had to search to make any sense of that statement. Furthermore I just distanced myself from the vikings post but you seem to want to hang on that as if I co-signed that write up.

You're focused on the past 60 yrs of history if you're talking about independence from colonialism. African civilization has been around for thousands of years. It has been under seige for atleast 2,000 years. What you call "alternative" history is rapidly being proven to be truth.

I'm no Hebrew Isrealite, Moor, Wa****aw, NOI or anyone else who claims to be anything other than black. I'm a proud NRI x ONICHA  Igbo Man born in the Belly of the Beast (USA).

Sounds like a middle eastern looking man to me

I doubt it.

But as a person of nigerian descent why do you more quicker identify with the pharoahs than mensa musa and his ilk?

The Amarna mummies have been dna tested and proven to be "sub-saharan" african. The can't run from the truth forever.

They are the same people. I'm not identifying more nor less with either because they are one in the same. The linear commonality of culture in Africa is what I identify with.

the mummies have dna from the sub saharan region... but if you think they would actually physical look like the "black race" you are strongly mistaken...

This is why african americans are so twisted. We don't know where in africa we are from.. so we just claim the parts that have the most prestige...
when in actuality, we are probably not descendants from those civilizations..

honestly, didn't read or watch every video.

Just want some cliffs.

You guys are arguing that blacks weren't kings? Even with the known dynasties of Egypt?

Also, is the Dogon society a secret society?

I watched Hidden Colors.

I really hope no one here watches that without doing further research.

If you can understand the mobility of blacks throughout history ;being uprooted, shipped, identity stripped and transplanted around the world, is it that much of a stretch for blacks to identify with a narrative of a people that wander from empire to empire without being inclusive to any one culture as mentioned in the bible and other texts?

Black history is at best unknown= "X"

so blacks relate to jews but not gypsies... like I said.. holding on to prestigious cultures specifically... nomadic arabic tribes exist too... but we don't claim those.

It's like white anglo saxon americans claiming the whole lot of europe, it's like them saying we used to rule everything.

It's embarassing that's what it is. Why do you have to be a king, not every black african person was a 'king'. Why do you want to claim every civilization that ever made a mention of having dark skin?

Why not claim the aboriginees of australia, what about the lower caste indians in india...claim them. It's absolutely embarassing.

'joe cotton', that's why you're trying to steal other peoples history...because you don't want to be associated with joe cotton. Thanks for getting to the heart of the matter.

**all in all we are all descendant of the same human parents, so the hues of our skin are only a distraction in the grander scheme of things. But stealing other peoples cultures and claiming them as your own is simply tragic***

Their statues and paintings all look like black people and their empire originated in the Sudan. Sounds like the "black race" that you speak of.

Once again I'm not claiming any part over the other. I'm claiming it all. From the Zululand, to Mali, to Great Zimbabwe, all the way to the Nile Delta and back again.

I'm not going to do this with you guys. If all you want to believe is that you come from Cotton Joe and Watermelon Jim have at it. I will no longer respond nor further derail this thread. If you like I will no longer contribute videos and articles.
If this is your thought process then the slave masters won, they won if this is how kids think today. Absolutely pitiful.

Just an observation,

One thing I see common in your point of view that parallels European intellect, is a fractal state of mind.

Albeit it necessary to understand underlying principles, "blackness" is the whole. It's everything. It's all connected. Therefore I see no problem with us connecting the dots between Israelites and Egyptians etc. If were all equal then, we all have equal ownership to the worlds history.

Just because I'm not a king of a country doesn't mean I'm not the king of my household. As is above, so below.

IMO, it's a very European attribute to try and assign culture ownership. They do this because they have little to none of their to own.
