Then why were they posted for sale by a retail giant? I actually carted one and could have checked out but was confused as to what they were. Probably would have been hit with the cancel but still.

Happens all the time, even footsites constantly use incorrect product pics using samples and whatnot. Also not the first time a site has posted pairs w/ that same knit and sent regular 3.0s. A while back a euro site had triple white & core blacks w/ pics that showed that knit and people were all in a tizzy about how they were copping the new 4.0s before release date. Was not the case.

Yes. Advisable to go half size smaller I'd say for a perfect fit. I like a lil room though.
And nice pic above, but damn something about the top view that shows off the 3 stripes. So good.
