I like the energy so far. I hope the thread is as active 20 weeks from now

Are you following a specific challenge? I’m putting all the numbers from the $2,500 challenge into a bowl and choosing at random every week.
Nope but I will try to save over 5G by putting in random accounts every week. I feel like this will help me save more. If I hit at the casino I will put the winnings in the savings and when I get random money throughout the year I will put that in the savings.

I’m doing the 5k challenge plus all of my bonus money will get saved this year instead of buying stupid ish. Bonus’s usually top out at around 24k before taxes so hopefully I can reach 20k total saved this year in addition to my 401k contributions. Thinking of opening a Roth account also this year. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I gotta be more disciplined this year in terms of saving. Half of my coming check on Friday is going into the savings account and my complete tax return is going into savings as well. Definitely pushing for 8k - 11k at the end of the year.

Vanguard is probably the most popular one and easy to use

Anyone doing the mix and match where you deposit any random week each week?
If I have the flexibility to deposit a higher amount that is schedule for a future date, I'll deposit that and make note that I have already covered that deposit for that week.

Also will deposit any extra money that I can deposit too.

signed up for Betterment (general investing & roth ira)
add that to my regular 401(k), auto deposit for coinbase and my citibank savings account

making real changes in my spending habits this year so i'm excited to save that $ instead
