They aren't a good team. The roster is not constructed as a playoff basketball team...even in the East.

Your best player is Al Harrington and that speaks VOLUMES about the rest of the team.

Even if we show progress and improvement, that all may be for naught with about half the team, I think, coming off the books at the end of the season.Individually, not one of these players will attract a big name FA. It looks like collectively will be even uglier.

You are right, they must show promise and improvement. The front office has to get some things done before the end of the season though because it's notlooking good. Everything is in a bind with the summer to end all summers approaching.

i have a feeling that as much as this system can bump your stats it can just as equally decrease your growth as a player. chandler has to realize that he hasthe potential to be an all star. if he continues settling for jumpers smh what a waste of talent. Gallo looked real good out there, but as long as he doesntturn into a 1 dimensional player he has that potential to be a better hedo. The Minnesota Timberwolves spent a lot of time and money trying to get Spanish point guardRicky Rubio(notes) to come play for them after the team drafted him fifth overall this past summer. Teambigwig David Kahn flew over to Spain a few times and tried to work out some sort of crazy buyout but obviously nothing ever worked out and Rubio is now playingfor FC Barcelona.

Rubio is still saying he wants to play in the NBA someday. Presumably that's what he intended when he declared himself for this year's draft, too,and that didn't seem to work out. The Wolves aren't bothering themselves to picture him in their jersey anytime soonand it appears that the team will tryand trade the rights to the guard before next year's NBA draft, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Itisn't expected that the team would get much in return on such a deal since most teams that have any interest in Rubio (read: the New York Knicks) don't want to get involved in any long-term contract negotiations before the free-agentsigning period starts next summer when the All-Star buffet opens up for NBA general managers.
