lebron only comes to the garden once this year, and it's in the very beginning of the season. Coincidence? I think not. Stern wants that talk quiet at the end of the year. Why the hell do we need to play lebron twice there?
the garden better be rocking, playoff atmosphere type, with "WE WANT LEBRON" chants all game.

I just remembered that

I hope the crowd is hyped but who knows. It might be the last time lebron gets cheered in the garden. If we play them in the playoffs I don't wana hearcheers. If he doesn't sign with new york in the summer you know he's getting booed for life in the garden.

Donnie Walsh does not regret his decision to pass up point guard Brandon Jennings in the 2009 NBA draft. The Knicks selected Jordan Hill with the 8thpick.

"He's a terrific athlete but he's got to get stronger," Walsh said of Hill. "But I'll tell you this: he shoots the ball a lotbetter than I thought he could."

More realistically, TMac for Duhon, Hughes, Jefferies.
worked out in the trade machine.
Rockets get a scorer in hughes, a power foward in jefferies, and their point guard for their injured old man. thing is, ive read that hes back to full healthwith the help of tim grover (i think he'll actually stay healthy too...

mark my words: larry hughes will be bought out, jeffries will be here past 2010, nate will be packaged with curry

I was joking with that machine trade, but i think we can get Camby if we tried, maybe Mcgrady also during the season if Rockets realize they do need a C.
I think there'll be some conflict with Hughes on our team knowing he won't play much..on his contract year..
Didnt Larry Brown and Rockets have interest in Curry.. if he plays you never know

Now that i remembered.. Larry Brown wanted Jeffries dont think it was Curry.. Would you guys do Jeffries for Felton? Yea im bored but that might be a goodtrade

Yo y'all seen j-will last night? Can't none of y'all tell me he wouldn't have been great in this offense.. dude was the quickest on the courtit look like them couple of years off did him good.. another knick fail
Walsh: Open Roster Spots For Flexibility, Finances
Oct 24, 2009 12:00 PM EST

The Knicks will go into the regular season with 14 players on their roster, including the retired Cuttino Mobley.

Donnie Walsh explained that his purpose in not filling all 15 available roster spots is to lower costs and maintain flexibility for future player moves.

"I think you can put [the roster number] under the general heading of flexibility and also a bit financial," Walsh said. "I think we haveenough players. Mike [D'Antoni] has a certain rotation that he uses. This leaves us open to the future if something goes on. And I think if guys are notgoing to play, I'm not going to put the money on it."

So wait, a retired player, still on an NBA roster, does he get a check?

rotation is set

Lee
jared
al
will
duhon

nate
gallo
darko
douglas

hughes is out?
i know hill wont be getting wont/little burn until he shows us something.
and will curry crack the rotation once he gets in shape? (hopes aint high though)

I'm calling it now, I know it's a reach but +%*# it...

107-105 Knicks over the HEAT.

Since hughes is out of the rotation is almost a matter of time before he blows up. My son Tdouglas gonna be the back up pg

. Smh @ our 8th pick not makingthe rotation. From the preseason he def did not look ready to play in the nba yet. I just hate Dlee at the 5, swiss cheese d again.

I'm glad jefferies is in the lineup. get that trade value up. eventually darko will be center. glad hughes is out of the rotation, he's a bum. HoweverI figured he would try to beast in a contract year so who knows. If he's upset he's gonna whisper in his boy's lebrons ear not to come here
laugh.gif

hughes needs to be traded/bought out...dude will become a big problem if hes not gettin consistent burn. u gotta think that right now hes playing for what willprobably be his last multi-year contract with decent money, and no way hes gunna get paid if hes not even cracking the rotation of a team that at the moment isnot a playoff team.
