******* USPS False Delivery Notifukations.
USPS track record for suck is on point out here in the Bay Area.
United States Postal Sucks
...but, Customer Service was on point though.

Worst thing is, you probably won't get this until Tuesday, since the post office won't be open or delivering on Monday in observance of Columbus Day.

@Sole Reaver, The white laces look great in your pair. Really works with the contrasting panels.

True.. and i only have shoes delivered to work (everyone should) because my Postman is a moron.

Anyone have shields in hand yet? Still debating whether or not to grab them with a NDC voucher I have

My pair is holding up ok, You've got to be diligent about returning them to a box though, since they're a deep black suede they tend to show dust REALLY easily. So if you forget to box them once or twice you'll have to brush them off before wearing them out again.

It rains a ton here and I've been lucky enough not to get my pair wet, although I'm sure that's going to change at some point this fall/winter when the rain comes during the bulk of my work day and not when I can theoretically be done and indoors.
All my shoes get boxed back up scree wearing and airing them. Might just stock them and pull out my leather shoes.

Yes, I have a pair in my possession. The Shields are outstanding; purchase with confidence.

I want laces like those in all my shoeeeeews.

Guys - I bought a pair of Black Sheep SBs recently via paypal invoice. Seller said 100% DS and authentic. When I got them I noticed serious flaws - the "SB" print was chipped in some areas, and on the heel, the SB print looks like it was done in really poor quality and even smeared... I'm not sure if I want to question authenticity but I've had about 6 pairs cross my path and I've never seen the print like this.. seems like the font even might be off a little. I want to start a paypal dispute to get a refund to return the shoes, just want to see if I'm in the right here or if I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill.

pics so you know what i'm talking about:

they seem to be authentic since i haven't seen any fake dunks pass for legit. but i think if the print really does bother you try and get a refund and return the shoes. if you came across 6 other pairs without the same flaw I'm sure you could a flawless pair at a good price

id just contact the guy and see if hell give a partial refund for not pointing out flaws when selling. if he wont, either accept it or make an official request through pp

yeah i mean it's one of those things where if i had known about it i would've never bought em. so it kinda irks me

You'd request a partial refund for QC errors completely out of the seller's hands...?

I see why you might have a problem as a buyer but it's one of those things that everyone sees differently.
I think most of the things you pointed out are so unnoticeable that it wouldn't bother me if I paid retail but I can understand when you drop 300+ on a pair and you expect quality to be on point even when it's barely noticeable

Gentlemen, can we please keep in mind that we are giving a $100 product, a $300+ critique. At the $100 cost range for a shoe (mass produced in China under dubious conditions) inevitably you will have flaws. Frankly for a shoe costing that little, I was amazed the quality was so good. That's what started my love affair with Dunk SB. I realize we spend considerable coin for these shoes, but we must keep in mind that "perceived value" will never be a good measuring stick for a product.
