As much as I wanted him to do that they can’t really afford to lose him bc some bum on the pirates was upset that he got rocked by Soto.
I expect someone on the Pirates to wear one today so should be interesting. If there’s no warnings before the game I would expect Lugo to throw one in the first.

If this goes through it’ll be interesting to see what they get for Lynn. If it’s pretty significant that should motivate Preller even more to move Snell and Hader. He could dominate the sellers market with those two guys.

Ehhh, like I said can’t get much worse. Lose him for 2-3 games not a big deal. Nobody ever fights anyway, it’s a shoving match, then everybody gets in the way and let’s pretend I wanna get away from 12 guys holding me back

But for the padres being “all in” and all the hype that surrounded them in the off-season, I can’t envision them “sellers.” If they are, I feel like that’s a sign of throwing the towel in on the year (eventhough there’s still a lot of season left). At that point they’re not “all in” like they’ve preached the last 18 months

I personally don’t believe that they’re selling either but would seriously consider flipping Hader for a pretty good return. You can withstand a Hader trade more than a Snell trade. Either way I don’t think it’s happening bc Preller is in too deep with this right now.
